HI THERE !

Just so you know, this website uses cookies (vanilla, chocolate-chip, and cream
filled) to assist in navigation. Things won't work properly without them.

This website is not a business. For decades, what started as a fun project has
become a beacon of encouragement for folks of all ages struggling with the
simple desire to express themselves. Please consider a donation because the site
a labor of love, and is expensive to keep running!





~ OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF ~

This website has recently been rebuilt, and should now scale properly to all
mobile devices. Some links will still go to old pages however, so if a page is
not readable just use your BACK button to exit for now, and re-visit later with
a large screen device. New pages all have a set of quick links at the bottom.
The first one looks like and it opens the main navigation menu. There you'll
find links and sub-links to nearly every page in the website (Or sometimes just
page #1 of a multi part adventure).

In addition to the navigation system, video and music on new pages should work
on any device. Many photos on new pages will also zoom when clicked or tapped
(Some older low resolution photos will offer limited detail even when zoomed.)
Despite the new features, the colorful and fun look is NOT going away. In fact
there's even more glitter and magic than before!

I've done my best to include older browsers during the rebuild. Even browser
versions available to Windows-XP and beyond (including Chrome, Firefox, and even
Internet Explorer-8) will work, and most android and Apple devices will also
work fine. Naturally newer browsers will work better.

If a page's content is missing or not working at all, please report problems and
errors to me if you are able. I'll do my best to keep old pages around too. They
won't be updated anymore, but at least they won't go away. For example, you can
click here for the Classic Old Home Page. Feel free to contact me if you want to
report any ongoing problem.

Intro Page. Why I became Peter Pan
Hello and welcome to my Home page! I started this website way back in 2000 to
share of my life with friends both old and new. While I don't update the text on
this "Home Page" very often, the site continues to grow and evolve. In fact all
the pages are slowly being rebuilt (Patience! ). But despite new pages and
navigation features, it remains more like a treasure hunt than a traditional
website! There are extra links scattered all over, so that even if you believe
you've seen it all, you likely have NOT! (If you don't like the 'old-school'
feel, Sorry--Not sorry.)

So I confess this certainly qualifies as a "vanity page", full of graphics and
text about me! Peter Pan after all is a character known for vanity, but this has
never really been my main intent. By expressing ourselves openly we all have
enormous power to encourage others to do the same. Therefore I continually reach
out to like minded souls, potential new friends, and others who believe in magic
and diversity, all while having some fun. And let's face it, there simply is no
better medium for that purpose than the internet!

I also started this site so that Tinkerbell would have an easier time finding
me,  and I'm very happy to report that she has!! In fact, you'll find links to
Our FairyWedding, our videos and our story, scattered around the site.

As I update this main page today, I'm 66 and making considerable effort (
hopefully with success) at staying young... maybe even childlike. (I like to
ignore the second digit in my age and just say I'm about 6-1/2.) But "why Peter
Pan" you ask? well although Peter Pan is definitely a boy, to me this character
is perfectly androgynous, and in his eternal childhood rejects the idea of
growing up and leaving this versatility behind.

Of course life is not a game, and I do strive to continually grow in emotional,
spiritual, and mental maturity. But there has always been this lighter side to
me. Childlike, "pixyish", and unencumbered by notions of what is and is not
permissible for boys. Am I too old for such notions? Certainly not! Yes there
have been times when it was a difficult and lonely road to be so openly unique,
and I confess I am often mystified why something so harmless bothers some people
so. But the human spirit is hard to suppress, and I have made my choice to be
myself and live my dreams in this life. So in the end the many friends I do make
are for real, and each one is worth more than 1000 phonies.
For what it's worth and looking in back, the road less traveled certainly has
been (and continues to be) the better choice!

Unfortunately this society has all but deified their gender boundaries,
especially the rules dictating what boys should or should not enjoy. Yes, girls
too. Yet little girls are often praised for interest in "boyish" activities,
while boys who do the opposite are seldom tolerated. Apparently maleness is
divinely considered superior. So it seems Peter Pan, by his fairy-like qualities
and elfin appearance, represents a literal blaspheme against their "god". No
wonder few stage productions have dared to cast a male for this character,
despite the many talented young actors, songwriters, and directors available!
(Only a few like Disney and more recently PJ Hogan have had the guts to do so.)
Yet it is for these very reasons that this character suits me perfectly.
Besides, the God of Love is the only one I serve. Too bad modern religion seems
to have missed that entire point!

I've many hobbies and interests including Music (guitarist), electronics,
sewing, Computer programming, and I generally like anything creative, especially
music. I released my first CD of original music, years ago here at PIXYLAND, and
occasionally added new tunes since then. I hope you'll give it a listen! I also
like science fiction/fantasy as well as comedy, fantasy, action-adventure films,
and even well done "tear jerkers". I'm not super active, but I do like long
walks on wooded trails or bleaches, bicycling, and as friends of mine know I
also absolutely LOVE to dance (though I must confess my dancing is indeed very
silly!) I tried to take ballet for a while, which is a discipline where any age
beyond 30 hurts, but it still was a lot of fun. And as you might have guessed, I
DO love the outfits! In fact I do quite a bit of sewing and enjoy making or
modifying clothes and costumes. These range from things that I can wear all the
time, to fun things more suited for parties, special occasions, or "club-wear".
Many would be very suitable for a ballet performance, and ALL are
unconditionally VERY silly!!

And speaking of 'silly', I know all this makes me a very silly boy! But If it
sounds like a fun thing or even if you'd just like a good laugh (I laugh at
myself all the time!) you must check out Peter Pan's Fashions Page,for a close

And the fun doesn't end there! Just peruse all the links on the new navigation
display for tons of multi-page adventures.
More recent pages were added for Dorothy/Tink. from around the time we first
met, as well as excerpts from Renaissance Fairs, and an awesome television show
featuring Dorothy on the WE cable network! Also tons of pages from Our Fairy
wonderful Wedding, many with videos! This website goes on and on and on, and
there's a LOT of history here! Keep exploring and you'll find art and photos
submitted by friends and fans, and many of adventures I've had since the site
began! Oh... and by the way, Donations are always welcome too!! In the spirit of
the 'Peter Pan' theme, this web site has supported and collected many thousands
for local and international kids charities every year! We even have a FACEBOOK
Group page.

I do hope you enjoy your visit and return often. Certainly if you have similar
interests, or fancy yourself in whole or in part as a pixie, elf, fairy, or
similar creature, I hope to hear from you. Over the years this site has gained
worldwide popularity, and inspired many to take a more active role in the simple
joy of being themselves. I suppose many of my words would be unnecessary if
people could lighten up and not fear and disdain such harmless self expression.
But just the same, I've been humbled to touch so many lives, and the site will
likely continue to grow for a long time.

I'm also a very spiritually active person, and have created another site called
Through the Cracks Ministries. It's purpose is to demonstrate how loving God
really is (to Everyone!), and help those wishing to verify His existence. I
guarantee that if you seek the God of love but can't stand religion, you will be
blessed by this site. Back on the music, my new Music page is where you can hear
samples from my CDs, and full versions for all who donate!. You'll also find
some older jazz recordings I made, combos with other musicians, and memorials of
musician friends no longer with us. Lots to explore there! (Like the TV ads say,
'But wait... there's more!')

Oh and of course... If you happen to have seen any of my pals, Wendy,
Tigerlilly, Hook, lost boys and lost-girls alike, please tell them about my
site! If you send a photo of yourself in "pixie-wear", I even have a
'Pixie Friends' page for that too! . As for Tinkerbell, I had a page just for my
earlier search which you're welcome to look at, but obviously no responses
please!  . And finally, whoever you are, remember... keep the child in you alive
and protected. It's more important than you can possibly know!!!
