The Centre brings together academics, educators, survivors, students, community members, and other appropriate partners. CHES also forges connections with diverse audiences and offers year round programming whose objectives include combating antisemitism, prejudice, and racism and promoting respect for diversity, social justice and human rights. The Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship (CHES), affiliated until Dec 1st 2020 with the Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies at Carleton University, is now a registered charity (Read Media Release). CHES will continue its activities in support of Holocaust Education independently, using its former name and logo.
