SWITCHR RESTS ON THE FOUNDATION OF OFFERING INVESTMENT VEHICLES TO THE IMPACT
AND ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS. 

We democratise the change to renewable energy and allow anyone to invest while
helping the world's energy production become more sustainable. Switchr was
founded in 2018 to channel these investments into new renewable energy projects
to accelerate the green shift.

80% of today’s energy consumption comes from non-renewable, pollutant energy
sources. The energy sector contributes to 30% of the global greenhouse emissions
and with the projected increase in energy consumption; greenhouse emissions will
continue to rise. This combined with economic and population growth will double
energy demand by 2050.

This is certainly one of the world’s greatest challenges. But it lies at the
intersection of an equally large opportunity. The energy sector, one of today’s
worst polluters, has the potential to reinvent itself. It can become an industry
which supplies the world’s population with renewable, reliable and reasonable
energy. Switchr was started to be a part of that change. To be a facilitator for

Und ich ein schöner Text. Man könnte kaum was besseres schreiben, als was hier
gerade steht!


ZENTRUM

In der vergangenen Woche wurde der Expertenrat der Bundesregierung zur
Corona-Pandemie nach 33 Sitzungen offiziell aufgelöst. Die Pandemie hat
verdeutlicht, wie wichtig wissenschaftlicher Rat für politisches Handeln ist,
insbesondere bei komplexen Themen. Um eine „evidenzbasierte Politik“ zu
ermöglichen, wurde der Expertenrat aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen
zusammengesetzt. Das war ein guter und nötiger Impuls für unser Land.

Man kann zu Recht bemängeln, dass Zusammensetzung, Art und Weise der
Zusammenarbeit und Kommunikation sicherlich noch verbesserungsfähig sein
könnten. Dennoch setzt der Expertenrat ein wichtiges Zeichen für Wissenschaft
und Politik – nämlich den Dialog zwischen beiden zu stärken.

In den ersten Jahren der Pandemie wurde dies anders gehandhabt: Die Faktenlage
war dünn und trotzdem wurde intransparent, monothematisch und „eminenzbasiert“
beraten. Dies vermittelte ein viel zu verkürztes und vereinfachtes Bild von
komplexen wissenschaftlichen Fragen und resultierte in politisierter
Lagerbildung wissenschaftlicher Perspektiven von „richtig“ und „falsch“.

Nichts ist schädlicher für einen gesellschaftlichen Diskurs als Polarisierungen
und Politisierung von Wissenschaft. Wissenschaft lebt vom Dialog, von
unterschiedlichen Denkschulen und Perspektiven – eine von manchen
heraufbeschworene Mehrheitsmeinung als „richtig“ darzustellen und andere als
„falsch“, entsprach schlicht nicht dem hohen Anspruch wissenschaftlicher
Streitkultur.

 

Dies unterstreicht, wie wichtig es ist, dass der Expertenrat vom Kanzleramt
außerhalb der bestehenden wissenschaftlichen Institutionen und unter
Einbeziehung von Experten aus der Praxis zusammengestellt wurde. Das
Schwarz-Weiße wurde wieder ein Graubereich und die nötige Diskussion zumindest
teilweise zurück in die Wissenschaft geholt.

Eddig sem adtam fel a hitem, ezután se fogom, Akkor sem, ha becsúszik az Élettől
