Washington State Solar Incentives


FEDERAL TAX CREDIT



A tax credit equivalent to 30% of the total cost of the system, signed into law
via the Inflation Reduction Act on August 16, 2022.


WASHINGTON STATE SALES TAX EXEMPTION



Solar photovoltaic systems sized up to 100 kW AC and installed by qualified
installers are exempt from state sales tax as of July 1, 2019.


NET METERING



Send excess electricity back to your utility and receive a full retail rate
credit in kilowatt-hours (kWh) on your electric bill.
