From humble beginnings with a display swimming pool in the backyard of the
family home in Melbourne in 1969, Albatross Pools has become one of Australia’s
oldest and most respected pool builders, manufacturers and exporters of award
winning innovative inground swimming pools boasting a roll call of 16,000 plus
happy clients across Melbourne and Victoria.
Different to concrete pools and fibreglass pools, Albatross specialise in pool
design and construction of steel pre-engineered inground swimming pools that are
factory built in Melbourne to the client’s specifications and assembled onsite.
This allows for rapid installation, which can often be achieved in days, yet the
swimming pool construction method still maintains a great level of flexibility

Swimming Pool Display Centres are a great place to start when beginning any new
pool project! Not only can you touch and feel a swimming pool, pool display
centres also allow you to gain a true sense of pool sizes and pool design
options available.
Fully landscaped and open year round, the MPBAA and SPASA AUSTRALIA award
winning display centres in Dandenong and Warrandyte showcase 11 pools including
small courtyard pools, freeform pools and rectangular pools. Recently undergone
updates, both pool display centres reflect the latest in pool design as well as

The much anticipated and highly regarded Australian Pool & Spa Awards presented
by the MPBAA (Master Pool Builders Association Australia, formerly SPASA
Victoria) were held on the 26th August 2023.
What has become the largest annual industry event full of celebration and
fabulous entertainment, the MPBAA awarded Albatross Pools two GOLD Awards –
where family fun and natural beauty converge, an elevated lap pool design in
Kilsyth, was recognised as the Best Residential Pre-engineered, Vinyl-Lined
In-Ground Pool for 2023 as well as the Best Residential Fibreglass, Acrylic or
Vinyl-lined Lap Pool. An equally deserving rectangular pool design in Coburg
received Highly Commended for the category of Best Residential Pre-engineered,
Vinyl-Lined In-Ground Pool for 2023. Fingers crossed for the award entries for
2024!
