PRIVACY POLICY FOR THE RESCUE MISSION



We value your privacy

Our commitment to our Donors

We will not sell, rent, share, or trade our donors’ names, or personal
information with any other entity, nor send mailings, or emails to our donors on
behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by Rescue Mission of Salt Lake
(also DBA: Ogden Rescue Mission), both online and offline, on any platform, as
well as electronic, written, or oral communications.

There are two types of information we collect

 1. Personal or donor information you knowingly choose to disclose that is
    collected on an individual basis, or that is publicly available on other
    platforms such as LinkedIn, and

 2. Web site use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others
    browse our web site.

How we use your information

Personal or Donor Information: When you donate to Rescue Mission of Salt Lake or
give us information in any other way (including online and offline), we collect
and store the information you provide. We use the information that you present
for such purposes as communicating with you and responding to your requests. We
partner with trusted vendors to help with fundraising and communications, who in
turn only use Rescue Mission donor data to represent the Rescue Mission of Salt
Lake or DBA: Ogden Rescue Mission.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct
use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and
managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect
physically and online.

Web Site Use Information: We use technologies such as cookies and pixel tags to
automatically aggregate and store certain types of information whenever you
interact with Rescue SaltLake.org, or OgdenRescueMission.org including IP
addresses, browser types, device, mobile carrier, country, visit duration,
browsing history, and other such information. This information does not identify
you personally but helps us improve our websites and services.

Managing Your Communication Preferences

You may choose to receive specific communications or opt-out of receiving
communications at all. For your convenience, you can opt-in to receive emails on
our website.   You can opt out of receiving emails by selecting the unsubscribe
option on a specific email. If you would like to opt-out of receiving
communications from us, you may also email us at info@RescueSaltLake.org or call
801-746-1006. Because the planning of fundraising operations often takes place
well ahead of time, changes to your communication preferences may take up to 6
weeks before they are accurately reflected your request.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

Rescue Mission of Salt Lake (also DBA Ogden Rescue Mission) reserves the right
to modify the website and/or Privacy Policy at any time and users are deemed to
be apprised of and bound by any such modifications. Our goal is to provide all
services to clients and donors in an accessible, efficient, and friendly manner
while maintaining their privacy.
