Health and wellbeing needs are not one size fits all. Rather, diversity within the workforce requires tailored support to ensure all workers are safe and happy. Businesses stand to gain by prioritising the differing health and wellbeing requirements of their employees, with higher levels of employee satisfaction leading to improved productivity, performance, and profitability. The UN Global Compact Network UK is organising a four-part webinar series on inclusive approaches to occupational safety and health (OSH). It will support businesses to level up their OSH agendas and seize the opportunity by emphasising the importance of DEI. The series will build upon existing approaches to OSH and delve into issues relating to mental health, gender, and disabilities in the workplace. Participants will develop a nuanced understanding of OSH through a DEI lens and will gain the knowledge and practical tools to address gaps in existing OSH policies and programmes within business.
