WELCOME TO GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC BINDKI, FATEHPUR

Bindki is a historical place in India. It was named after its emperor Raja
Venuki. It is among the oldest tehsil in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Bindki is
also associated with the first war of Independence in 1857. Bindki is located is
about 30 km from Fatehpur, 55 km from Kanpur , 72 km from Banda and 127 km from
Lucknow. It has an average elevation of 125 metres (410 feet).
Bindki and the surrounding region are very rich, fertile lands, lying in between
the Ganges and Yamuna rivers. Rice is the main crop of Bindki tehsil. Nearby
Chaudgra is main industrial area. Bindki Tehsil consists of 2 urban areas with
urban population of 63,285 in which Bindki City had a population of 36,926 out
of which males were 19,562 and females were 17,364 with the literacy rate of
77.60 per cent and Kora Jahanabad Town had a population of 26,359 with 72.44%
literacy rate.
Bindki Tehsil consists of 424 villages which combines a total rural population
of 6,86,360 with 71.43% literacy rate.

Government Polytechnic College has produced generations of Diploma Holders who
have gone on to become technicians in all areas of society and industry. Today,
we are striving to acquire and elevate the best research and education practices
accumulated in the national academic community. Steady development and yearning
for continuous perfection have become our winning formula. The Institution is
situated in Bindki –Fatehpur and located on Bindki  Khjuha road near Bawan Imlee
Shaheed Smarak. The campus of college has spread an area of five acres. It is
apart 5 km from Bindki roadways and 15 km from Bindki Road Railway station. The
institution started since 2016 Mechanical Engg (Auto) and Electrical Engg. Now
the Institution has three courses named as Mechanical Engg (Auto) and Electrical
Engg and Paint Technology with intake of 60 students in each discipline. The
Institution is accredited from AICTE. The campus has green and sprawling lawns
and playground is meticulously planned and designed with the exquisite facility
to develop a congenial environment for students pursuing their studies for from
daily Hustle Bustle of city life.

PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

Our institute established in 2016. Providing continuously technical manpower to
the nation.
We want to produce such technocrats having all round personality i.e. sound
technically, mentally, spiritually so they may prove themselves as an asset to
the nation.
Whenever or wherever they be placed they may proved themselves as a source of
light in all fields of the society.
