AEROSOL TRANSPORTATION RISK ASSESSMENT

Aerosol-Final-Report.pdf (1.52 MB)

PHMSA contracted with the Cambridge Systematics Team to complete an Aerosol Risk
Assessment. The purpose of this assessment was to determine if the United
Nations Model Regulations' definition of aerosols maintain an equivalent level
of safety to the Hazardous Material Regulations' (HMR) definition used in the
United States.

DOT is committed to ensuring that information is available in appropriate
alternative formats to meet the requirements of persons who have a disability.
