These updates will enable quicker reference access and the ability to get to critical information faster and easier. In addition to these content enhancements, there will be changes to certain interface functionality. We recommend reviewing the specific titles that will be impacted (review crosswalk), as well as the recommendations below. We will continue to provide additional details as the transition progresses, but please note: * 64 current NRC+ Skills will be split into two or more Skills with new names to aid in content discoverability. With this change, each new Skill will have a different accession number. As a result, you will need to recreate any direct links, alerts, saved articles or notes for the current 64 NRC+ Skills. You will also need to reload SCORM packages for this subset. * 1,430 current NRC+ Skills will have updated titles and updated content within the Skill. Alerts, saved articles, and notes will be retained with these changes. * 158 NRC+ Skills will remain unchanged, with no modifications to their content or titles. Jane® Over 100 Microlearnings Available Now Throughout 2022, we’re committed to adding 150+ microlearning courses to help develop clinicians in less time. Ranging from 15 – 45 minutes, these accredited CE courses are typically about 15 minutes long, awarding 0.25 contact hours. There are over 100 of these courses available to you now (review here), and we’ll continue providing updates as we progress. No action is needed by admins or learners as these microlearnings are auto-recommended based on each user’s assessment results. New Pathway: Adjunct Assessments We have developed a new pathway called Adjunct Assessments, available now for all Jane users (view here). These assessments can be assigned individually and provide a deep dive into key concepts. There are four assessments in this pathway, with the plan to add more in the future. The current assessment titles and topics include: 1. Medication Dosage Calculation – NEW! * Mathematical methods to ensure medications of all routes are administered correctly with proper dosing in all populations. 2. Emergency Patient Triage Assessment – NEW! * Assessing and triaging patients seeking emergent care for an acute or chronic illness or injury. No one specific assessment tool is leveraged. The exam focuses on prioritization and assessment. 3. Cardiac Rhythm Identification Basic * Identification of basic cardiac anomalies. 4. Cardiac Rhythm Identification Advanced * Identification of more advanced cardiac anomalies. Addition of Development Simulations to Critical Thinking Assessments We recently added Development Simulations to Critical Thinking Assessments.
