Founded in 2001, The Parson Brown Singers have been captivating audiences with
their masterful harmonies and dynamic performances. Their beginnings in holiday
entertainment quickly evolved into a wide-ranging repertoire that spans
everything from sophisticated wedding ceremonies to high-energy corporate flash
mobs and a cappella recording sessions. While their name pays tribute to the
legendary snowman-priest in "Winter Wonderland," their sound is a year-round
sensation.
In 2011, their star ascended when the world-renowned Young Money Cash Money
Billionaires enlisted them for a holiday campaign, where they performed a
cappella renditions of hits by Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne, and DJ Khaled. The
group’s unique ability to fuse modern hits with vocal precision captivated
audiences and cemented their reputation as style benders.
Relocating to Philadelphia in 2018, the group’s blend of talent grew even
stronger. Comprising professional jazz singers, musical theater artists, and
opera singers, The Parson Brown Singers bring a wealth of experience and
versatility to every performance. With many members also performing with
prestigious organizations like Philadelphia Opera and Opera Delaware, their
classically trained voices add depth and brilliance to their genre-crossing
shows.
Career highlights include providing vocals on tracks for George Korein and The
Spleen (2019), as well as separate contributions to the holiday album First Snow
(2020). In addition, their involvement as actors in Nino Man's "Downtown" video
(2021) and their vocal work for Broadway’s Winnie the Pooh (2022) further
showcase their versatility and wide-ranging appeal.
Whether delivering beloved Christmas holiday favorites, heart-stopping jazz and
pop arrangements, or stunning classical performances, The Parson Brown Singers
leave audiences enchanted with their vibrant energy, striking costumes, and
unforgettable sound.

Holiday Christmas Caroling with The Parson Brown Singers
The Parson Brown Singers arrive in beautiful festive costumes and sing in lush a
cappella harmonies. The group's repertoire is vast, from the most traditional
Christmas Hymns and beautiful songs of yesteryear to playful children's
favorites and modern jazzy arrangements by groups like Pentatonix and The
Manhattan Transfer. The ensemble performs together regularly and is comprised of
full-time highly trained jazz and classical voice professionals. Their blend and
bell-like clear crisp sound are matched only by a show stopping appearance as
each member was hand selected to not only sound but look fantastic.
Costume choices range from the most traditional Victorian/Dickens with top hats,
capes, bonnets, and hoop skirts to "Ugly" Christmas Sweaters, hats, scarves,
mittens, Santa’s Helpers: Elves & Miss Santas, Blue, Silver & White Hanukkah
Carolers, Frozen theme: Kristof, Olaf, Elsa, Anna, Nutcracker: Toy Soldiers &
Ballerinas and Les Mis: Valjean, Javert, Cosette, Eponine

In the early fall of 2018, The Parson Brown Singers moved their talent from
sun-shiny Palm Beach Florida to to the Northeast. It's been an adventurous, fun
and promising transition full of wonderful music opportunities throughout the
greater Philadelphia area including New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and New York.
Its been an amazing experience singing about snow while surrounded by actual
snow. We absolutely love our new home! #GoEagles

PROJECT PA - CAROLS, COOKIES, COCOA & THE PARSON BROWN SINGERS
Where: The Studio at Arden: 320 Arden Road Gulph Mills, PA 19428 - free street
parking on Arden, Lantern, Joel and Garrison (please do not block driveways)
When: Mon Dec 16th, 6:30pm (singing begins at 7)
Details: Community Caroling Night led by The Parson Brown Singers - Enjoy
Cookies, Cocoa and an evening of holiday singing for a great cause!
Link to printable or downloadable (for your tablet) music for caroling will be
posted HERE one week before the event.
What to Bring: warm clothes, music on paper or tablet (see above), utility
blankets or lawn chairs for sitting on, flashlights, donations to The Welcome
Project. Also feel free to add to our snack table!
Weather: this is a happy weather event - a rain date or inside alternative will
be announced HERE by Sunday night the 15th if we expect yuckiness.
