SIGN IN WITH COINBASE WALLET



Coinbase Wallet is another popular way to store your blockchain assets like
Kudos, cryptocurrencies, and more. Let's take a look at how to create a new
Coinbase Wallet and install the browser extension for easy access.
CREATING A COINBASE WALLET & INSTALLING THE BROWSER EXTENSION

To install the Coinbase Wallet browser extension, you can visit the Coinbase
Wallet website. Once you are on the website, click on the Download Coinbase
Wallet button.
This is what the download page of the Coinbase Wallet website looks like. Click
"Download Coinbase Wallet" to proceed.
After clicking the Download Coinbase Wallet button, you'll be presented with a
page asking which platform you'd like to download Coinbase Wallet on. For this
tutorial, I decided to Download for Chrome.
On this page, it shows three different installation options for Coinbase Wallet:
Download for iOS, Android, or Chrome! We will be adding it to our browser in
this tutorial.
After the page to your browser's extension store opens, simply press Add to
Browser to install it. In the case of this tutorial, I've opted to install it on
Chrome with the Add to Chrome button.
This shows the Coinbase Wallet extension on the Chrome Web store. Simply click
"Add to Chrome" to add the extension to your browser.
You will receive a pop-up that you'll need to accept to proceed. After
accepting, Coinbase Wallet will open in a new window.
CREATING A COINBASE WALLET

Now that Coinbase Wallet is open, you will see an option to create a new wallet
or to import an existing wallet from other compatible wallets. Click Create new
wallet.
You will be taken to a page with your wallet's secret recovery phrase. Click the
blurred text to reveal your phrase, write it down, then store it in a safe
location.
Tip
Never share your recovery phrase with anyone. If you do, they will have access
to your wallet and all of your assets!
After you've written down your secret recovery phrase, you'll need to press the
check mark next to the text that reads I under that if I lose my recovery
phrase, I'll lose all of the crypto in my wallet. After this, press the Continue
button to go to the next step.
This shows the "Backup your wallet" screen for Coinbase Wallet. You can click to
reveal your secret recovery phrase. Store your phrase in a safe location, check
the box, and press the "Continue" button to proceed.
In the next step, you'll need to verify that you saved your phrase by selecting
two words from your recovery phrase. In my case, it asked me to select the 1st
and 12th word. Click the Submit button to continue.
This page shows a bunch of potential words from your seed phrase. Select the
first and last word from your seed phrase, then click the "Submit" button to
proceed.
CREATE A PASSWORD

On the next page, you'll need to create a password in order to sign in to your
Coinbase Wallet to sign transactions. Make sure to create a secure password.
Click the check box to agree to the terms and privacy policy, then click the
Submit button to proceed.
This page asks you to create a secure password for your Coinbase Wallet.
After clicking the submit button, you will be redirected to a page that says
"Your wallet is ready." It may also prompt you to claim a username. If you want
to do this, you can click the Claim for free button. For this tutorial, I will
be selecting I'll do it later.
This page shows that your Coinbase Wallet is now ready! You can claim a username
or opt to claim one later.
The next page will show you instructions on how to pin the extension to the top
of your browser for easy access. In Chrome, you can click the puzzle icon button
to open the extension menu. With the extension menu open, look for the Coinbase
Wallet extension and click the pin icon to pin it to your browser.
Tip
In many other browsers, you can pin an extension by clicking the three dots in
the upper right section of your browser and navigating to the Extensions menu.
Then, there should be an icon or option to pin the extension.
This page shows that Coinbase Wallet has been successfully installed. It can be
pinned to the top of your browser for easy access.
You should be able to head back to the MintKudos website to log in using your
Coinbase Wallet. After selecting to connect with Coinbase Wallet, you will get a
popup in your wallet. Press the Connect button and then the Sign button to log
in to MintKudos.
You are now ready to proceed to the next step, Step 2: Define details.
