On the women's side, the No. 3 Wolfpack was the first team to send a top seed home after beating Texas, while the 11th-seeded upstarts on the men's side dispatched No. 4 Duke. Hopefully you've got some of your Final Four intact in your brackets in advance of next weekend's intriguing Final Four. Meanwhile, the last two weeks of the NBA regular season kicks off tonight with a six-game slate. Consider this a sneak preview for the type of expert analysis and insight you will receive as a SportsLine subscriber. * Former Pro Bowl cornerback Vontae Davis, 35, was found dead in his Florida home. * Dodgers and Yankees are among several MLB teams that are scouting Japanese pitcher Roki Sasaki. * NC State star DJ Burns is drawing interest from NFL teams while on his NCAA Tournament run. All times Eastern | Game odds via SportsLine consensus 👀 Today's top story 76ERS STAR JOEL EMBIID IS CLOSE TO RETURNING FROM KNEE INJURY The Philadelphia 76ers could receive some much-needed reinforcements this week. According to a report from The Athletic's Shams Charania, Embiid could make his return on Tuesday when the Sixers play the Thunder in Oklahoma City. Embiid has been out of the lineup since Jan. 30 due to a left meniscus injury that needed surgery. Without Embiid this season, the Sixers are 14-27, but overall they're 40-35. They currently hold the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, and are in danger of having to participate in the Play-In Tournament. Here's more from CBS Sports NBA writer Jasmyn Wimbish on how the Sixers have struggled without Embiid: * Wimbish: "While only two games separate the No. 8 Sixers and the No. 6 Indiana Pacers, unless they close that gap, it appears that the road to the postseason for Philly will have to start with the Play-In Tournament. But, if Embiid returns healthy this, no one will want to face a Sixers team at full strength. Prior to Embiid's injury, the Sixers had the third-best net rating in the league, and Embiid was well on his way to win the MVP for the second straight year." 🔥 The Hot Ticket Nets at Pacers, 7 p.m. | TV: League Pass * The Pick: Pacers -12.5 (-109) * Key trend: The Nets are 3-7 ATS over their last 10 games. SportsLine expert Bruce Marshall is 7-2-1 in his last 10 ATS picks involving the Nets. * Marshall: "It looked like Brooklyn celebrated April Fool's a day early on Sunday when they allowed the Lakers get off to a 26-4 lead and not bothering to guard LeBron on his three-pointers. (He made a career-high nine!) That effectively ended the Nets' longshot playoff hopes, and the Pacers looked back in gear when beating the same Lakers team by 19 points on Friday. Indiana is definitely capable of duplicating a 121-100 home romp past Brooklyn on March 16 when Pascal Siakam poured in 28 points." 👀 Here's what else SportsLine is saying about the game: The Projection Model has a "B" pick on the moneyline, while having "C" picks on the spread and total.
