Rescue Fenix is a 501c3 non-profit organization mobilized by the feeling of
compassion for animal welfare, animals in danger, abused, and the sick and
neglected. We aim to provide food, shelter, and medical services for needy
animals. Along with a strong adoption program to ensure that every companion
animal lives in a safe, loving, and secure home. We rehabilitate the abused,
abandoned, and sick homeless dogs in desperate situations, and provide them with
the love and care that they need.

Domestic Short Hair | Male | Medium | Adult
Escondido, CA


Otto was abandoned in Mexico and tossed away like trash on one of our
volunteer's doorsteps.  This poor kitty didn't come from a good place, he was
covered in scabies, and his brittle bones protruded through his skin!  

We knew we needed to help him live a better life, and after this kitty was
dumped, we brought him to the vet. First, he received a skin scrub for his
scabies at the animal hospital and was given medication treatment to help soothe
his terrible skin problem.  In addition, he will be receiving nutrients through
food that he was once deprived of.  Otto didn't come into this world to suffer,
and we are doing everything to show him lots of love and affection, something he
never experienced before.

Will you help us give Otto a better quality of life?  Your donations are greatly
appreciated and will help cover the cost of medical bills to treat his horrific
skin condition.  Please find it in your heart to make a difference in this poor
boy's life.  Thank you!

💌 Otto update on this #10DollarTuesday! 💌 

Otto already went in for his medical checkup. He had a skin scrubbed, he was
given medication and further treatment. We're hoping this kitty will get some
relief from the horrible skin issues he's been plagued with.

Our hearts break for Otto when we think of the suffering that he endured on the
streets. Despite him being in pain, and visibly ill, it was as if he was
invisible. Thankfully, he ended up on the right doorsteps, the doorsteps of
someone who loves, and cares for animals.

Please consider donating even just $10 to help us show Otto that people can be
kind, and give him the life that he deserves to live.
