Ben is a subsurface resource professional, trained as a geoscientist and
educator. His previous employment includes ExxonMobil Upstream Companies, Noble
Energy, and Woodard & Curran, Inc. AB, Bowdoin College; MBA, Texas A&M
University; PhD, Dartmouth College.

Founder, Chief Strategic Officer, Director


Talal is an expert in energy investing and a thought leader. He held senior
roles at JP Morgan in finance and risk,  lectured at Harvard and the London
School of Economics, and received his PhD in Foundations of Physics from
Cambridge. His publications include the book, Objectivity, Invariance and
Convention, published by Harvard Press.

JOHANNA OSTRUM



Chief Operating Officer


Johanna's extensive expertise spans the Oil and Gas industry, where she has
excelled in engineering, regulatory, policy, and management roles. Her
professional journey includes significant contributions at Noble Energy, SM
Energy, Extraction Oil & Gas, and the Clean Air Task Force. Currently, Johanna
is a valued member of the Board of the Energy Leadership Institute. She holds a
Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Montana Tech.

CATHERINE FLAX



Chairman


Catherine is an energy sector and finance senior executive with experience
leading both large scale and early-stage companies. Formerly global CMO, CEO
commodities EMEA at JP Morgan and Head of FICC at another leading financial
institution, she currently serves on the Board of the Independent System
Operator of New England.

Chief Technology Officer


Lia N. Sedillos has over 20 years in the Oil & Gas industry. Most recently as VP
of Technical Sales at Covia Corporation and Engineering and Operations Manager
at Noble Energy. BS in Engineering and a ME in Petroleum Engineering from the
Colorado School of Mines, MBA from Tulane University

1. THERMAL RESOURCE EVALUATION



At Gradient Geothermal, we offer a comprehensive solution for oil and gas
operators looking to optimize their energy use and reduce their carbon
footprint. Our HXC Sled plus fit-for-purpose ORC equipment can be used to cool
produced fluids to meet pipeline specification and generate onsite
emissions-free electricity for use on the pad or to be net-metered to the grid.

Before installing our equipment, we provide a specific use case evaluation of
your thermal resources and the associated economic benefits of such an
installation. This benefit analysis includes a thorough review of all applicable
tax credits and incentives, as well as the project's all-in carbon emissions
accounting.

2. HXC GEOTHERMAL SYSTEM



Gradient Geothermal provides our HXC System fit-for-purpose ORC equipment to
operators for a fixed monthly fee. Our equipment can be used to cool produced
fluids to meet pipeline specification as well as generate onsite emissions-free
electricity for use on the pad or to be net-metered to the grid.

INITIAL INSTALLATION IN NEVADA



In May 2022, we partnered with Grant Canyon Oil and Gas LLC and ElectraTherm to
successfully generate clean, lower-carbon electricity at an oil field in Nevada.
The energy is used to power a portion of Grant Canyon’s operations at the oil
field, reducing total greenhouse gas emissions from their operations.  This was
the first step in our goal to provide affordable energy that bridges the gap
between fossil fuels and renewable energy.
