Cognitive impairment related to cancer and its treatment has recently been
recognized as a significant symptom that is associated with other declines in a
person's quality of life and functional ability. This symposium will review the
current evidence and recommendations for intervention.




LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

 * Participants will be able to define cancer-related effects on cognitive
   ability, overall scope of issue and current evidence.
 * Participants will be able to conduct screening and define potential
   assessment tools for cognitive decline specific to cancer-related cognitive
   impairment
 * Participants will be able to define evidence-based interventions to support
   cancer survivors with cognitive impairment
 * Participants will be able to define cancer-related effects on cognitive
   ability, overall scope of issue and current evidence.
