Community Health Workers (CHW) were reported to support partner disclosure among HIV affected heterosexual partners with disclosure difficulties. However, time to disclosure attributed to use of CHW led disclosure support mechanism was not documented. D. View all Publications VIRAL LOAD SUPPRESSION AFTER INTENSIVE ADHERENCE COUNSELLING AMONG ADULT PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV AT KISWA HEALTH CENTRE, KAMPALA: A RETROSPECTIVE COHORT STUDY. SECONDARY DATA ANALYSIS 30 March, 2023 Viral load non-suppression has been found to be associated with suboptimal ART adherence, and Intensive Adherence Counselling has been shown to lead to viral load re-suppression by over 70% in people living with HIV on ART. View all Publications EFFECT OF PREGNANCY VERSUS POSTPARTUM MATERNAL ISONIAZID PREVENTIVE THERAPY ON INFANT GROWTH IN HIV-EXPOSED UNINFECTED INFANTS: A POST-HOC ANALYSIS OF THE TB APPRISE TRIAL April, 2023 Isoniazid preventive therapy (IPT) initiation during pregnancy was associated with increased incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the TB APPRISE trial. Effects of in utero IPT exposure on infant growth are unknown. Co-author Dr. Deo Wabwire contributes to this analysis of data from the TB APPRISE (IMPAACT P1078) trial in eight countries with high tuberculosis prevalence. Click here to read the article.
