Pat Kinsel
CEO, President and Founder
CEO Pat Kinsel founded Notarize after his own experience trying to notarize a
document. He is on a mission to bring trust online with notarization that’s
simpler, smarter and safer than paper. Pat was previously a partner at Polaris
Partners. Before joining Polaris and founding Notarize, Pat was a co-founder &
CEO of Spindle until it was acquired by Twitter in June 2013. Previously, he was
at Microsoft incubating new concepts and bringing them to market. Pat serves on
the board of Lob and was the lead investor in Drizly. He is also a member of
TechStars Boston, Harvard’s Innovation Lab and SparkLabs Korea.





Renee Hunter
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
As General Counsel, Renée Hunter helps enable widespread adoption of Notarize’s
products across all 50 states by leading the legal, public affairs, regulatory
compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and risk management teams. Renée sits on
committees with the Mortgage Bankers Association, the American Land Title
Association, the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization, the
Notary Public Administrators section of the National Association of Secretaries
of State, and is a charter member of TechGC. She also sits on the board of
directors for the Electronic Signature and Records Association.





Kim Rose
Chief Customer Officer
As Chief Customer Officer, Kim Rose leads all customer facing efforts to deliver
exceptional experiences and flawless transactions. This includes all aspects of
client onboarding, customer success management and support, and closing
operations, as well as workforce management and notary strategy and operations.
Previously, Kim was SVP of Customer Success at RealPage, where she supported the
integration of several major acquisitions including Propertyware and  Buildium,
where she previously served as Vice President of Customer Success and Support.
Earlier in her career, Kim held leadership roles at several startups including
Carbonite, where she worked for nearly a decade through their IPO.





Mike Bettencourt
VP, Customer Solutions
As Senior Vice President of Solutions for Notarize, Mike is responsible for
shaping the solutions organization. By implementing creative processes and tools
that drive the success of our largest customers and partners, his efforts impact
the entire customer lifecycle — from presales to initial deployment to ongoing
post sales solutions engineering.
‍
Prior to Notarize, Mike held the position of Vice President of Solution
Consulting at LogMeIn. Throughout his tenure, he was responsible for shaping the
global solutions team, including presales and professional services, across
LogMeIn’s solutions. Earlier in his career, Mike held presales and product
management roles at Oracle and SAP.
