Ulster BOCES provides educational leadership and support, along with more than 200 innovative and cost-effective programs and services, to help the eight public school districts in Ulster County meet their academic, administrative, and operational goals. Our programs benefit students, educators, employers, and taxpayers throughout Ulster County. PROVIDING A SKILLED WORKFORCE Career training programs are taught by industry experts who use cutting-edge technology and equipment to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in the workforce. Read More 641 college credits were earned by high school students through articulation agreements with 38 colleges/universities. 144 local businesses served as partners on our advisory councils and committees, providing valuable input into the curriculum offered to students. 351 adult learners worked to improve their chances of success by pursuing their High School Equivalency Diploma through adult education programs. 211 young professionals enrolled in CTE programs were engaged in internships last year; including 60 paid placements with interns collectively earning more than $11K a week. 28 cooperative bids were prepared to allow districts to jointly purchase supplies and services and benefit from economies of scale. 3,753 educators took part in the more than 251 professional development workshops that were presented by Educator Edge experts. 4,522 devices were purchased for Ulster BOCES & component school districts to support teaching and learning. 35,007 meals were prepared through our food service management program.
