THE BEGINNING...
1920
Wallenborn Transports S.A. was founded back in 1920 by Metty Wallenborn. The
idea was to be able to transport whatever needed transporting, both nationally
and internationally.

BENZ TRUCK FOR WATER TRANSPORT

In the early days Wallenborn Transports was used to transport just about
anything, both nationally and internationally. One of the elements our trucks
were used for was to transport water pipes and distributors to facilitate clean
drinking water. This photo shows one of the Benz trucks carrying waterpipe
distributors.

1960
In the 1960's Metty's son, Paul Wallenborn, became involved in the business and
began using Hanomag trucks to distribute goods across Europe.

Pictured here in 1964 at the then Wallenborn headquarters in Bettborn,
Luxembourg, is a Büssing Burglöwe truck and two Volvos. The one Volvo is a model
F495 and the other is the first F88 in Luxembourg used for international
transport.

The PW060 was Wallenborn's first Volvo FH12. It is pictured here in

ONE OF THE FIRST MEGA TRAILORS
1993
The PW753 was one of the first trucks to have a connector as low as 950
millimetres. This allowed for connection to the LAG mega trailor which boasted
an internal height of 3 metres.

REGULATED AGENT (RA) CERTIFICATION
2008
In 2008 Wallenborn Transports became a regulated agent. This enabled us to carry
secured air freight as approved and required by the aviation authority.

ACQUISITION OF HAUGSTED AIRCARGO SERVICES
2009
Haugsted stood out as a clear acquisition target for Wallenborn. The quality
level of their operation and people, along with their strong customer base were
clear signs the company could be a good fit for Wallenborn. Haugsted shared the
same philosophy as Wallenborn and was geographically complementary in terms of
its network, with offices in Kastrup and Billund. The fact that there was no
overlap in terms of customer base made the affiliation a great fit.

WALLENBORN BECOMES THE FIRST TRUCKING COMPANY TO JOIN IATA CARGO 2000
2009
In 2009 Wallenborn became the first trucking company to publish performance data
measured against Cargo 2000'™s service level agreement for road feeder services.
Cargo 2000 was a group of over 70 major airlines, freight forwarders, ground
handlers, trucking companies and IT providers. Its members implemented
re-engineered air cargo transportation processes from shipper to consignee using
Cargo 2000'™s '˜Master Operating Plan'™. In compliance with the Cargo 2000
standard, the company measured and reported its performance against key
milestones in the road transport journey, bookings processed on-time departure
and on-time arrival. Freight Status Update (FSU) messages were sent to the
client airline within 60 minutes of these events.

ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATION
MAY 2009
In May 2009 Wallenborn successfully completed the audit to become ISO 9001 :
2008 certified.
ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a
membership of 161 national standards bodies. Through its members, it brings
together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based,
market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide
solutions to global challenges.
The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains
some of ISO'™s best known standards. The standards provide guidance and tools
for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and
services consistently meet customer'™s requirements, and that quality is
consistently improved.

AEOS CERTIFICATION
JUNE 2009
In June 2009 Wallenborn successfully obtained it's AEOS certification.
The Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) concept is based on the
Customs-to-Business partnership introduced by the World Customs Organisation
(WCO). Traders who voluntarily meet a wide range of criteria work in close
cooperation with customs authorities to assure the common objective of supply
chain security. It covers economic operators authorised for customs
simplification (AEOC), security and safety (AEOS) or a combination of the two.
The EU established its AEO concept based on the internationally recognised
standards, creating a legal basis for it in 2008 through the 'security
amendments' to the "Community Customs Code" (CCC) (Regulation (EC) 648/2005) and
its implementing provisions.

NEW OFFICE IN STOCKHOLM
MARCH 2011
Wallenborn and its affiliate Haugsted AirCargo Services open an office at
Stockholm Arlanda airport. The office, located in the (then new) Spirit Air
Cargo Handling terminal at Arlanda airport was set up to co-ordinate services
across Sweden on behalf of airlines, freight forwarders and cargo GSAs.

TAPA TSR CERTIFICATION
JUNE 2012
The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Truck Security Requirement
(TSR) dates back to 2008 when it was launched to address the growing
displacement of cargo crime from warehouses to roads and parking places. It
became a certification program in 2012 and Wallenborn was amongst the first in
the world to be TSR certified, and the first asset-based company in the EMEA
region to be certified at levels 1, 2 and 3. The certification allows us to
transport high value cargo and secured air freight. The required compliance
level depends on the cargo value.

INTEGRATION WITH VIP TRUCK
2013
Wallenborn advances its network through the integration with Germany'™s largest
air cargo RFS provider, VIP Truck, thereby forming a new entity called VIP
Wallenborn. The new company offered the most complete network of distribution
services for airlines and forwarders in Germany, including scheduled connections
between 15 German airports, scheduled international trucking services from FRA
and MUC, and export/import handling at all German airports.

NEW OFFICE IN DUBAI
FEBRUARY 2013
In February 2013 Wallenborn established Wallenborn Transport Co. LLC in Dubai in
order to develop a range of land transport services in the Gulf Cooperation
Council (GCC). This expansion was Wallenborn'™s next step after observing that
airlines and frequencies were growing in the Gulf states and spotting a trend
toward higher frequencies of smaller aircrafts within the GCC.

GDP CERTIFICATION
OCTOBER 2013
An unbroken temperature controlled supply chain is an extension of the Good
Manufacturing Practice (GMP) that all pharmaceuticals are required to adhere to.
The pharmaceutical and healthcare supply chain, particularly in the EU, became
subject to increasing regulation, and global Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
guidelines drove the need for better quality equipment and procedures.
Meanwhile, an increase in counterfeiting and more biological ingredients ramped
up the need for more complex monitoring, and more complex supply chains. In the
pharmaceutical industry, good distribution requires ensuring that the entire
supply chain and distribution network is focused on compliance with regulatory
requirements at every point and that the product is fit for use when it reaches
the patient. The GDP certification was a major stepping stone in Wallenborn'™s
ability to confidently service pharma clients.

NEW OFFICE IN SHARJAH
NOVEMBER 2013
Wallenborn opens its second U.A.E. office at Sharjah International airport. This
comes only 8 months after Wallenborn opened in Dubai, only 15 km away from
Sharjah. The launch in Sharjah was in response to fast growing demand for
Wallenborn'™s air cargo trucking services from airlines, forwarders and
integrators across the U.A.E.

WALLENBORN MOVES TO DNATA CITY IN THE UK
JUNE 2014
Wallenborn moved its London office to the (then new) £100 million dnata City at
Heathrow airport, the world'™s busiest international airport and Europe'™s third
largest cargo hub. dnata City is a complex of warehouse units and offices that
provides a base for some of the world'™s leading international airlines.

NEW OFFICE IN VIENNA
MARCH 2015
Wallenborn opens an office at Vienna International Airport. The driver behind
this step was multi-faceted. Our primary reason was to better service our
clients who book regular shipments to VIE. A number of our customers also have
consignees with offices in Vienna, so it provides added value to them to have a
direct contact at the airport. Finally, having a local presence in Austria
allows us to better penetrate that market as a whole and more specifically
source shipments back to LUX.

NEW OFFICE AT LUXEMBOURG AIRPORT

Findel Airport in Luxembourg continues to experience rapid growth in both
passenger and cargo volumes. Wallenborn is ideally placed to support such
growth, and so the decision to extend its presence to the Airport was an easy
one. This facilitates both onsite customer support as well as more efficient
supervision of special loadings and unloadings.

HAUGSTED AIRCARGO SERVICES A/S BECOMES WALLENBORN SCANDINAVIA A/S
OCTOBER 2016
Since the acquisition in 2009 Haugsted gradually and smoothly integrated into
Wallenborn, and prospered as an important member of the Wallenborn Group. 2016
brought along the opportunity to complete the transition and as of 1st October
2016 Haugsted Aircargo Services A/S officially became Wallenborn Scandinavia
A/S. The re-branding effort is supported by renewed, and substantial, investment
in Wallenborn Scandinavia A/S which includes a recent order for 25 new Tautliner
trailers in Wallenborn colours, scheduled for delivery in the final quarter of
this year.

WALLENBORN TAKES DELIVERY OF 12 NEW BI-TEMPERATURE TRAILERS
APRIL 2017
In April 2017 Wallenborn expanded its temperature controlled transportation
capabilities by adding 12 new bi-temp trailers. These allow for the simultaneous
transportation of goods requiring differing temperatures. This consolidated way
of transporting goods can save customers both time and money through improved
load factors.

In May 2018 Wallenborn successfully completed the audit to update our ISO 9001 :
2008 accreditation to the 9001 : 2015 certificate.
ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the

number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the
motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual

DNATA JOINS FORCES WITH WALLENBORN
OCTOBER 2019
Wallenborn Transports has completed the acquisition of Agility Global Logistics’
interest in dnata PWC Airport Logistics LLC (DPAL), a Dubai-based premium road
feeder services provider, and will now embark on a partnership with dnata
through its ownership in DPAL. The partnership will see the companies develop
new products and services, and enter new markets.
