Just when we think we have seen all the familiar faces we are going to see, we get pleasantly surprised by a new addition to the big screen, Rhianna, in her first movie role. Not bad for her first attempt at acting, although; she did appear to be a bit stiff. Battleship chronicles a live version of the board game as U.S. Navel annual war games, following a friendly game of soccer with Japan, get underway off the coast of Hawaii. A sudden invasion of Earth by alien forces, here in hopes of using our own satellites to signal their mother ship, begin to target and destroy our Navel ships.
