JACK ALTMAN RAISES $150M FOR ALT CAPITAL'S DEBUT FUND

Former Lattice CEO Jack Altman secured $150M in capital commitments for the
debut fund of his new VC firm Alt Capital. Before launching Alt Capital, Altman
invested in notable startups such as Default, Slope, Canvas, Via, Table22, Air,
AgentSync, and Product Hunt. 

More:

 * Altman ended his eight-year tenure as the CEO of people management platform
   Lattice a month ago to return to his passion for helping early-stage
   businesses. 
 * In addition to providing capital, Altman wants to leverage his network to
   help companies acquire customers, capital, and talent more quickly. 
 * The fund has no links to Altman's brother, Sam Altman, the founder and CEO of
   AI startup OpenAI. 
 * Altman said that Sam was "just too high profile now; it's better for lots of
   reasons to avoid any potential of conflicts."
