Our client, a world leader in Pharmaceuticals and In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD)
tools, is seeking a "Senior IT Business Analyst".

Location: Position is based in Indianapolis.

Job Type: Long- term Contract (3 years)

Mission: Reporting to the Head of the US PMO and the assigned IT Project
Manager, the IT / Business Analyst supports business analysis processes and
methodologies (e.g., waterfall and agile) for the IT function. Business analysis
includes business processes, business and technical requirements, functional
specifications, test cases, project documentation, and operational support
documentation designed to ensure that IT projects adhere to high quality
standards and meet customer expectations.

The IT / Business Analyst will support various and multiple IT projects, some of
which will be large-scale in nature.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• Translate business needs into technical requirements
• Accountable for documentation creation including, but not limited to, user
requirements, user stories, functional and technical specifications, process
flow diagrams, project charters, test plans and test scripts, and training
documentation
• Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, process refinement, user
story collaboration, and risk identification
• Manage cross functional stakeholder relationships
• Participate in data migration activities to ensure business needs are met by
data standards and data quality efforts are successful
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to reconcile /
resolve potential conflicts
• Work to decompose high-level information into details; and distinguish user
requests from underlying true needs
• Coordinate communication within the project for topics discovered impacting
the scope, budget, risk and resources of the business requirements and testing
work efforts

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proven technical writing skills (project documentation/deliverables)
• Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills
• Strong understanding of baseline Project Management Methodology concepts
(including waterfall and agile approaches)
• Understanding of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) concepts
• Strong understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) concepts
