TESTIMONIALS

Testimonials

Sir Jonathon Porritt, Founder, Forum for the Future

"I really loved Leyla's presentation –  she is such a powerful advocate for new
ways of thinking about the world and its resources – very inspirational."

Trish Hyde, CEO, Australian Packaging Covenant

"Wow. Awesome. Amazing. Leyla is a synapse - with her energy, passion, knowledge
and humour, she ignites every neuron in the audience, and frees people to think
and design sustainably."

Brock Macdonald, CEO, Recycling Council of British Columbia

"Leyla Acaroglu is an amazing speaker, and her concept of using environmental
folklore to simplify and explain complex systems is brilliant.  She engages even
the most cynical to her thought-provoking conclusion that design and innovation
can lead to a more sustainable future.”

Alejandro Buvinic, Director, ProChile

"Leyla's first visit to Chile was in the frame of LAB4+, an iconic event of
innovation of the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico). Her way
of thinking makes the public very engaged and explores new ideas into
internationalization of innovation."

Barbara Fowler, SustPack 2016 Conference Organizer

"Leyla Acaroglu's keynote set the tone for the rest of the day on how packaging
can be regenerative and have a central role in the fight against food waste, in
educating the consumer and in changing behavior to a more environmentally
conscious one. She was an outstanding speaker and brought great energy and
content to open the day."

Jason Kimberley, Founder, Cool Australia

“Leyla has an infectious ability and passion for seeing better ways of doing
things and finding ways to do it. No challenge is too great for this
solutionary!"

Lewis Patterson, CEO, Latitude Inc, - Innovation & Sustainability Conference
2017 , South Korea

"If you want people jumping out of their seats or (in one case at least) and
coming close to tears, then you call Leyla. With Innovation & Sustainability
2017 we wanted engagement and inspiration – which is what we got.  Our audience
was primarily Korean and this proved no barrier to Leyla delivering her
inspiration and insights. I look forward to the next time we are able to work
together.”

Melissa Kanerva, Design Forum Finland

“Leyla was an absolutely magical speaker at the Design <3 Circular Economy event
in Helsinki! She inspired and empowered the participants to start exploring
circular design, disruptive design and systems thinking. Thank you, Leyla, for
making change!”

Simon Caspersen, Director of Communications, SPACE10

"Leyla did a super engaging talk at Made in Space that the audience really loved
- she is a visionary, progressive thinker that, in an optimistic and
constructive way, can address some of the big challenges we face as a human race
and still leave a room uplifted and filled with hope."
