with his family in Lawrence. Born and raised in Wichita — the aviation capital

Drew Armstrong is the Executive Editor of Endpoints News, and joined the
newsroom in 2022. He has nearly two decades of experience as a health care
journalist in New York and Washington, D.C. most recently a 12-year career at
Bloomberg News. There, he led the newsroom's U.S. coverage of the Covid-19
pandemic, developed its "Prognosis" health care vertical and managed a team of a
dozen journalists covering every aspect of the American health care system.
Prior to Bloomberg, he spent five years covering U.S. health policy at
Congressional Quarterly, where he wrote about the enactment of the Affordable
Care Act. His work as a writer, editor and data project manager has won or been
recognized by multiple journalism awards, and he has appeared regularly on

By the age of 25, Maksym had already attained 3 degrees: a bachelor’s in law, a
second bachelor’s in business economics, and a master's degree in business
analytics. Determined to help create reliable digital products, he decided to
pursue a career in QA engineering. Maksym was previously employed at Raiffeisen,
but he ended his contract with the bank due to their position on russia's
invasion of Ukraine.

Before the war, you could find him at parties, going to gigs, woodworking, and
making wine. Nowadays, he devotes his free time to volunteering for the benefit
of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. When he’s not in front of the computer, he’s
poring over a Stephen King novel.

Tyler joined Endpoints News in 2023 as a Sr. Account Executive overseeing
Enterprise subscriptions. He brings 6+ years of sales experience along with a
background in journalism where he spent 5 years doing a little of everything in
a TV newsroom.

When he’s not working, Tyler enjoys programming movie screenings in his backyard
with his fiancée, hanging out with his dog Keanu Reeves, traveling as much as
possible, and hiking/biking/kayaking across his adopted state of Michigan. He
also enjoys the excitement, joy, and misery of sports fandom with summer
evenings consumed by the Atlanta Braves and fall Saturdays dedicated to the
Auburn Tigers.

Abbey Harbart joined Endpoints News in 2023 as Associate Marketing Director for
Subscriptions. Equipped with over a decade of marketing expertise in digital
strategy, media, and subscription services, Abbey's mission is to get Endpoints

travel the world, especially to unique spots where she and her husband can scuba

Lia DeGroot covers the FDA for Endpoints. She most recently wrote about the
agency for Inside Health Policy, where she focused coverage on medical devices,
vaccines, and food oversight. She graduated from George Washington University

Hatchet. When she's not reporting you can find her reading, running, visiting
museums, and eating her way through Washington, D.C., where she lives.

As the Vice President of Events at Endpoints News, Carrie oversees the strategy,

technology, and marketing. She leads a talented and diverse team of event
professionals, empowering and inspiring them to achieve excellence and value in
every aspect of event management. Carrie lives in Long Island with her family.

Reynald has 10 years’ journalism experience covering pharma and healthcare: from

Lydia Ramsey Pflanzer is a deputy editor for Endpoints News. She previously
spent 8 years as a healthcare editor and reporter for Insider. While there, she
helped build the publication’s healthcare coverage, breaking news on
drug-pricing debates, chronicling the fall of Theranos, covering the biggest
industry-moving mega-mergers and analyzing the new ways people are going to the
doctor. As an editor she’s worked on stories that get inside Big Tech’s
ambitions to take on the healthcare industry, and investigated startups that
grew fast, and what that meant for patients. She launched Insider’s annual 30
under 40 list and authored the Insider Healthcare newsletter from 2018 to 2021.
