She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, Foundational Theraplay® Practitioner, and an EMDR-certified therapist who practices in Natick, Massachusetts. She has provided effective behavioral therapy for kids by focusing on cognitive and emotional development. As a child therapist, she has a BA in Psychology, an MA in Pastoral Ministry, and an MA in Mental Health Counseling, all from Boston College. Her child therapy approach is to work closely with parents to introduce and educate them on the process of play therapy and its benefits for their children. She spends a considerable amount of time getting a family history and creating an assessment. In successful play therapy sessions, the child and parent are both equally important, and it’s crucial for parents to keep in mind that they are a vital part of the process.
