A wiki dedicated to Horrorbrew characters and their stories!

Create your own pages and fill out information about your Horrorbrew! Doesn't
just have to be Mario, we also welcome all characters of the Mario Franchise,
just as long as they're Mario-related!

WHAT IS A HORRORBREW?

"Horrorbrew", based on the name of the Homebrew Channel on the Nintendo Wii, is
a term coined by TheGoodBoi/Caramellow that's defined as:



OC's or Stories based on Nintendo IPs and franchises, made with the intent of
instilling fear in either the viewer or the characters in said story.

These characters are typically made with either Horror or Thriller settings in
mind, but other genres like Angst and Tragedy are also acceptable.

However, for this wiki specifically, we are only accepting horrorbrews based on
the Super Mario franchise, as the wiki used to be dedicated to Mario EXEs
specifically.

This mostly excludes parody characters like Berserk Mario or Secret Histories
Mario, as they are specifically made for the sake of comedy or as a parody, so
they're not allowed on the wiki.

RULES!

Because we all need rules to keep the peace (Or what little of it remains,
haha!)

 1.  Keep it civil: Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to
     criticize another user’s argument, do so without attacking them as a
     person. Do not use bigoted language, including slurs which degrade another
     person or group of people based on gender, race, sexual orientation,
     nationality, religion, etc.
 2.  Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the
     established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator!
     Disrupting the wiki with “edit warring” over differing opinions of a topic
     with another user or group of users is not productive.
 3.  Do not harass other users: If somebody asks you to stop posting certain
     content on their wall, respect their wishes. It is their wall.
 4.  Do follow community guidelines for formatting: When a community has
     established formatting, it’s important to adhere to that, especially when
     spoiler content is involved.
 5.  No official Mario characters, or content: Things that fully originate from
     official Mario games, such as the Mad Piano, or Shroobs shouldn't be added,
     and can likely be found on another wiki already.
 6.  Don't mass direct pages to your own.: Don't try to make a lot of deleted
     pages link to your own to manipulate the algorithm. I feel like that should
     be obvious, but I guess not.
 7.  No vandalism of pages, or making pages disrespecting others: Don't edit
     pages to add completely random things, advertise your own brew without
     permission, attack the page owner or others, or to add false information.
 8.  No AI-generated content: We have zero tolerance for AI content on this
     wiki. If we find any AI-generated horrorbrews on the wiki, they will be
     removed. (This does not mean you can't have a horrorbrew that is an AI in
     their story).
 9.  No traced artwork: Similarily to AI content, we have zero tolerance for
     traced artwork. If we find traced artwork, you will be informed and need to
     change or remove it as soon as possible. If you don't, your page is viable
     for deletion.
 10. Do not recover deleted pages without permission: This one should be pretty
     straight-forward, but it must be clarified anyways. Unless given explicit
     permission, you are not to recover any deleted pages. They were deleted for
     a reason, after all.
 11. Generally, no SML stuff. We generally do not want Super Mario Logan related
     stuff on the wiki. Thank you.
 12. Try to have something on your pages: If your pages are empty, with no
     pictures, and with little to no text, they will likely be deleted. If you
     plan to add stuff to your page, have a notice on the page. If a page that
     you plan on doing things with gets deleted, you may ask an administrator,
     and they may consider undeleting it.
