The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (also known as The Conjuring 3) is a 2021
American supernatural horror film directed by Michael Chavez, with a screenplay
by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. Taken from the story of Johnson McGoldrick
and James Vaughan. The film serves as a sequel to The Conjuring (2013) and The
Conjuring 2 (2016), and serves as the eighth installment in Conjuring Universe.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Pharmaga re-enacted their roles as extraordinary
investigators and writers Ed and Lorraine Warren, also starring Roerie O’Connor,
Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard. Vaughn and Peter Safran return for
the production of the film, based on the murder case of Arne China Johnson, who
was convicted of murder in 1981 in Connecticut, in The Devil in Connecticut,
about a lawsuit written by Gerald Bartel. Book.

James Vaughan. This movie is the sequel of “Call of Souls” (2013) and “Call of
Souls 2” (2016) and is also the eighth part of the Universe of Calling Souls.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmagar re-enact their roles as extraordinary
investigators and writers Ed and Lorraine Warren, also by Lori O’Connor, Sarah
Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard starred. Vaughan and Peter Saveland returned
to make this movie, based on the murder of Arne China Johnson, who was convicted
of murder in the Devil of Connecticut in 1981, involving Gerald Litigation
written by Gerald Bartel. Book.

The movie was originally scheduled to be released in September 2020, but it was
postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
was released by Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinemas in the United States
on June 4, 2021, and was simultaneously released on the HBO Max streaming
service for one month. The film received a box office of US$197 million with a
budget of US$39 million and received mixed reviews from film critics. They
praised Wilson and Farmiga’s performance, but criticized the script and pointed
out that it was better than before. A few are weaker.

In 1981, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren recorded the exorcism ceremony of
8-year-old David Glatzel in Brookfield, Connecticut. His family, his sister
Debbie, her boyfriend Arne Johnson and Father Gordon all participated. During
the exorcism, Arne invited the demon into his body instead of David’s. Ed
witnessed the transfer of the demon from David’s body to Arne’s body, while he
suffered from a heart attack and was taken to the hospital in a coma.

The following month, Ed woke up in the hospital and revealed to Lorraine that he
had witnessed the demon entering Arne’s body. She sent the police to the
doghouse where Debbie and Arne’s apartment was and where Debbie worked, warning
them that tragedy would happen there. Arne and Debbie returned to their
apartment. After feeling unwell and seeing a supernatural vision, Arne
assassinated his landlord Bruno Sauls 22 times under the influence of the demon
possession. With the support of the Warrens, his case became the first murder
trial in the United States to defend the possession of a devil, and an
investigation into David’s original property began. The Warrens later discovered
the satanic curse transmitted through the witch totem and met with Castner, a
former priest who had dealt with the disciples of the Ram cult. He told them
that a mystic had deliberately left the totem, causing a curse on the Glazers,
leading to David’s possession.

The Warrens went to Danfoss, Massachusetts to investigate the death of Katie
Lincoln, who was also stabbed 22 times. Detectives found a totem in the home of
Katie’s missing girlfriend, Jessica. Lorraine initiates a phantom to recreate
the murder case and discovers that Jessica stabbed Katie under the influence of
being possessed by a demon, and then jumped off the cliff to death, which
allowed the detective to recover her body. The Warren family went to the funeral
home where her body was buried. Lorraine touched the body’s hand to help find
the location of the mystic. Lorraine walked through a dark tunnel in the
illusion and witnessed the occultist trying to make Arne commit suicide, but
stopped her in time. Lorraine is threatened by the occultist, and she tells Ed
that the connection is two-way.

The Warren family returned to their home in Connecticut for further
investigation. Ed lost consciousness for a short time, and later killed Lorraine
under the influence of the mystics, but was stopped in time by Drew. Later, they
found the totem at home, hidden in a vase full of black roses. Drew gave Ed a
book about the Witchcraft of Streglia that he had discovered, and pointed out
that “to lift the curse, the altar where the mystic is located must be
destroyed.” When they realized that Katie was studying at nearby Fairfield
University, they began to assume that occultists were active in the area.
Lorraine returned to Kastner to ask for help. He revealed that he had raised a
daughter named Isla, which violated the Catholic Church’s requirement of
celibacy for clergy. He told Lorraine that in the course of his research, her
fascination with occultism increased day by day, and she later became a mystic.
When the occultist arrived, Castner let Lorraine enter the tunnel where she
found the altar. The mystic killed him. Ed arrived soon, and he used a
sledgehammer to find his way into the tunnel through a locked drain hole. He was
briefly possessed by the occultist and tried to kill Lorraine, but she told him
the time of their first meeting, reminding him of their love. Ed regained
consciousness and destroyed the altar, saving himself, Lorraine and Arne. The
occultist came to her shattered altar but was killed by the demon she had
summoned for failing to complete the curse.

Ed put the cup on the altar in their heritage room, along with the paintings by
Wallack and the Annabel doll. Arne was convicted of manslaughter, but after
marrying Debbie in prison, he ended up serving only five years in prison. Ed
showed Lorraine a replica of the pavilion where they first kissed, and they
kissed each other.
