GREAT PRODUCT!

For years, I always had a fan or two hanging in front of each horses' stall. The
air was just pushed across the stall and provided minimal relief from the hot
summer days. I bought four of these fan holders a year ago. This fan holder
allows the fan to create a nice cool breeze down in the entire stall. The
installation was not bad but had to make some modifications. Easy to assemble. I
have metal stall fronts and used a scrap piece of 1x3 to wedge on one side to
tighten the screws on. It worked nicely and was very sturdy. Hasn't needed any
adjustments in over a year. I also had to put a knot in the bungee cord so that
it made a snug fit. I wanted to share a helpful tip for short people. I plugged
my fans into a remote controlled extension cords (like the ones you use for
Christmas lights) and hung the remote at each stall. This way I can turn the
fans on or off without climbing a ladder. I also use a ceiling fan brush with
extension pole to dust the fans every once in a while.

This product works, but it was a bit difficult to get it to hold. We only have a
metal bar to attach it to, so we added a small piece of wood. It's holding fine.
We also added an additional bungie cord as we thought just the one wasn't enough
to hold it securely to the stand.

the instructions are not helpful. the thing was designed to fit fans of years
past. the bungee court was too long to hold the fan. it required extensive
modification to safely use. I sent e mail to SS about this and they never
bothered to respond. I have 7 horses but I can shop else where

wants to have some depth to attach to the top of the wall. It won't close up
enough for a wall that may only be 1/2" – 1" wide. I would suggest putting in a
wood wedge to build the width out a bit to accommodate a thin wall.Was this
