PROBLEM

The mapping documents are located on CIS WorkBench so that CIS SecureSuite
Members can map the new CIS Microsoft Intune for Windows Benchmark Build Kits
back to the previous CIS Microsoft Intune for Windows Benchmarks versions
(v2.0.0 - partially mapped) and also the comparable on-premises ['on-prem'] CIS
Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 Benchmarks (v3.0.0 - fully mapped).

SOLUTION

 1. The first tab within the document is the Intune to Group Policy (on-prem)
mappings. This mapping allows members to know that if they apply Intune
Recommendation 1.1 that recommendation is a direct map to the Group Policy
based recommendation 18.10.58.4, as an example.

    1. Please note that Intune titles might also differ from the on-prem titles.
For example: The Intune title for recommendation 1.1 is 'Allow Cortana
Above Lock' and this maps to on-prem recommendation 18.10.58.4 'Allow
       Cortana above lock screen'.

 2. The second tab contains Group Policy recommendation to Intune recommendation
mappings. This tab can be used to find which on-prem Group Policies are not
currently (as of publication) supported in the Intune UI. This also allows
members to map from our CIS Microsoft Windows on-prem Benchmarks to the CIS
Microsoft Intune for Windows 10 or 11 Benchmarks.
