WHY SHOULD I USE SHIELD?

HOW MUCH DO CUSTOMERS PAY FOR SHIPPING PROTECTION?

This is entirely up to you. You can configure Shield to upsell a fixed price
(e.g. $2) or a percentage (e.g. 3%) of the customer's order value with custom
pricing rules. We can help you set and optimize this pricing.


IS SHIELD AN INSURANCE COMPANY?

No - Shield is not an insurance company. We sell software to enable Shopify
brands to charge custom fees to customers that provide a guarantee to the
customer that the brand will protect their package. Brands can customize the
copy on the widget to add various premium services (e.g. reship if package lost
or damaged, free returns, money-back guarantees, etc.)


HOW MUCH CAN I MAKE WITH SHIELD?

You keep the majority of shipping fees collected. After offsetting the upsold
revenue against customer claims, the rest is your profit. Brands using Shield
