Silicon Infusion specialises in creative and innovative design solutions for use
in the wireless transmission of voice, video and data. Our focus is on
high-performance digital and DSP based solutions for baseband processing,
including modulation and demodulation, forward error correction, and processing
of lower-layer framing structures.

 




Our Zaltys suite of products has been established for over ten years, and are
used for efficient, high-performance and high-speed voice, video and data
transmission. Zaltys modem cores are currently being used in many third-party
products, carrying many thousands of user connections on a daily basis. Zaltys
products are used globally by organisations from many diverse market sectors -
from broadcast and telecoms equipment manufacturers to military solutions

ZALTYS ENHANCED DEMODULATOR

The Zaltys High Performance Enhanced Demodulator (HDRM-D2) is a versatile IP
core capable of demodulating multiple schemes from BPSK through to 256QAM. It
includes an adaptive equaliser to maximise performance. It is based on our high
performance demodulation engine, which has been used by many customers at the
heart of their products for over four years.

ZALTYS 3-LAYER ISDB-T DEMODULATOR

A recent addition to the Zaltys range is the 3-Layer ISDB-T Demodulator
(ISDBT-D) IP core. The high performance COFDM demodulator is compatible with the
ARIB STD-B31 standard for Terrestrial Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting, 
performing the necessary processing to recover 3 separate transport streams
carried on 3 separate layers within an ISDB-T broadcast channel.
