GW GRAD HELPS OTHERS THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Recent GW graduate Anas Mheir Alsaadi had never even heard the word
“entrepreneurship” until 2020 when he assisted a friend in launching a startup,
but it quickly became a passion for him once he realized it could be a means to
helping others.

“I really like the idea of entrepreneurship because it’s one of the ways that
you can actually change the world and improve the world, because it’s about
problem solving,” Alsaadi said. “So, you find the problem, and then use
entrepreneurship to find the solution and make a solution out of nothing.”

He founded the GW Entrepreneurship Club as a place for all innovators to create,
learn and network, and now that he’s graduated, he plans on teaching the
entrepreneurship skills he’s learned at GW to people back home in Dubai.

“It was an inspiring experience to not only meet Bill Clinton, but to work
alongside him to give back to the community around us. I am very grateful to GW
