MHTI ENGINEERING is a South African Company focusing on providing Consulting
Services in Civil, Structural, Traffic, Transportation and Environmental
Engineering, Infrastructure Development and Occupational Health and Safety.

EMPOWERMENT

 * MHTI ENGINEERING has set to ensure it aligns with the Government’s
   objectives of empowerment, poverty alleviation, development, and sustainable
   growth.
 * To achieve this MHTI ENGINEERING has integrated the following work groups
   sustainably into all stages of their operations to ensure empowerment of the
   target groups.
 * Skills transfer to employees, communities by ensuring interactive and
   participatory training at all stages of the project life cycle.
 * Community involvement and participation at project implementation stage of
   the projects.
 * Staff Career Progression Program: Employees receive financial assistance to
   further their studies.
 * Staff Development: in house training is offered to all Engineers and
   Technicians.
 * The target is to have at least 30% of the staff employed byMHTI ENGINEERING
   being women from disadvantaged communities and there should be a balance
   which accommodates all ethnic and racial groups.
