away from your fire department will be decided by voters. If passed this will reduce funding for your fire department by approximately $19 million dollars, roughly half the operating budget. Causing the layoff of over 150
fire fighters, closing of 3-4 stations and significantly increasing lifesaving response times. Two developers have been the majority financial support behind a petition that has put this on the ballot. If passed your taxes
will NOT go down, but the fire department loses funding. This sales tax would be up for grabs. The developers have pressured the City of Pflugerville into capturing that money. This plan was revealed with an agenda item in an
August 2024 city council meeting, creation of a Development District. There is zero mention of EMS of public safety. Developers want to fund a development district, with public safety funds.</div>
<div>The Pflugerville Firefighters Association is funding this survey and is not using taxpayer funds to do so. We’ve seen this lie before when the developers fought funding quality EMS services by lying to the public, and the city went
