I'M MINA Fuck JavaScript -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coding | Music ME My name is Mina. I was born Feb 2005 in Germany (where I am still living) and my passion is coding and making music. I wrote my first lines of code (Java) back in 2016, because I wanted to programm Minecraft Spigot plugins. With 0 knowledge about how computers work and some YouTube tutorials, I've managed to get some working plugins, but gave up as it got more complex over the time. Mid 2017, I was so inspired by the german rapper and producer Dee Ho (aka M.O.T) and his unique rap style, that I decided to also make songs. I recorded my first songs with my smartphone and later I got a €15 USB microphone from Amazon and used Audacity for recording and “mixingâ€. Later, a friend gave me her old "t.bone 420", which I used to record everything from then on. I wasn't coding at the time, but i was interested in doing it again. I had a second computer where i installed various GNU/Linux distributions (just for fun lol) and by using them daily i started to love unix like operating systems. Because a lot of tools/scripts there where written in Python and Bash (Bash looked like undecrytable hieroglyphs), i started to learn Python together with Kevin (Hi Kevin). We wrote various webscraper and other cool tools. Over the time i also started learning FL Studio and mixing songs from other artists for free. I wasn't good at it and every track sounded muddy as hell, but i got better from song to song and later I've mixed 2 Albums from the rapper Reinyckefux. Because i switched alot between Windows and GNU/Linux i also used Ardour as DAW for a short time. Its 2020 now and i wanted to go deeper into how a computer works... ...so i started learning C and x86. It was the best decision i could make. I still love C today. Its so simple, you can do everything with it and with time, you're learning more how your operating system and all of this abstract high level magic works. Everything thats software related builts on ASM and C, so why not continue with it. 2021, I'm 16 and finished secondary school. It was to late to sign in for High school, so i was forced decided to do an apprenticeship as sound engineer. To bad covid fucked every studio close to me, so I did one as software engineer. Im still doing it and learned modern C++ there. 2023 is a good year. I'm 18 now, i have much better audio eqiupment and learned a lot about DSP, I released my first EP, met my Girlfriend, switched from FL Studio to Cakewalk and I've got a feature with Dee Ho. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
