There is no walk in chest x-ray service. All patients will receive an

plan to attend for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. This is so
the slot can be given to another patient. This means that others will not miss
out. As a general rule, we will contact you directly about your appointment and

hand hygiene before attending the hospital.

You will need to sanitise your hand and wear a face mask on entering the
hospital and while you are in the hospital. Self-presentation to the Radiology
Department reception is not possible at this time. There are some limited
elective appointments for CT, MRI and some interventional radiology procedures.
People attending for these appointments will be contacted, screened and given
instructions on how to safely present for their appointment. Again, appointment
staff will tell you how to safety attend for these appointments. Oncology day
unit patients will continue to be contacted the day before their appointment.

You will be asked some questions on coronavirus as a screening process. Oncology
patients should attend appointments in the unit on their own. This is to avoid
overcrowding in the department. Oncology patients should enter the hospital at
the old s entrance opposite the TF Theatre when attending the appointment.
