OUR STORY BEGAN WITH A SWIPE TO THE RIGHT

Taylor showed up to brunch fashionably late to an eager but charming Chase who
quickly swept her off her feet. Their first date went so well that when Chase
came home to his roommate, Shea, he said, “I’m in trouble.” And boy was he
right!

What started as a very long distance relationship from Venice to West Hollywood,
quickly blossomed. They moved in together into their first apartment in 2018
where many nights of hosting friends and making a home became foundational
memories. When 2020 came along, for many it was a year of social distancing and
isolation, but the pandemic brought Chase and Taylor closer together than ever
before, and we mean that in the most literal sense. Spending 24 hours a day
together and sharing an office space in a small one bedroom apartment put their
relationship to the test! And despite some speed bumps arguing over who had the
more important meeting or “is this really the best time to run the vacuum?”, it
was during this time that they knew their love for each other was forever.

New York holds a special place in their hearts as it’s not only Chase’s
birthplace and home to the Yankees, but a place where they have shared many
memories and late night dollar slices together. There is one memory in
particular that they will never forget - Chase proposed to Taylor on October 28,
2021 in Central Park on a dark and stormy night, making it the perfect
atmosphere for spooky season, Taylor’s favorite. They celebrated their
engagement surrounded by their family and soon to be bridesmaids and groomsmen,
marking it one of the happiest days of their lives.

When Chase isn’t leading an MLB The Show baseball team to the World Series on
his PlayStation, he and Taylor enjoy hiking and exploring in the beautiful
California mountains and canyons. Being outdoors brings so much joy to Taylor
and Chase, making Malibu the most meaningful location for their nuptials. They
are so excited to share this important day with all of their closest friends and
family and hope that all of their guests can relax and enjoy the dreamlike
destination that awaits.
