OUR STORY



It all began several years ago at a gala in Houston. By then, Kathryn and Eric
had already been declared "soulmates" by mutual acquaintances—friends who had
been saying for years that the two simply had to meet. Despite the build-up,
life had its own timeline, and it wasn’t until that serendipitous evening that
their paths finally crossed.

They spent enough time together at the gala to realize one thing for certain: it
wasn’t nearly enough time.

Their first “date” wasn’t even meant to be a date—it was an impromptu five-hour
dinner, full of conversation, laughter, and undeniable chemistry. By the end of
the evening, Kathryn, ever the strong and independent woman, confidently picked
up the tab. Eric, stunned (and maybe a little worried), thought to himself,
Well, that’s probably the last time I’ll see her.

He couldn’t have been more wrong.

It wasn’t long before a proper date was set up, and their connection only grew
stronger. Kathryn was captivated by Eric’s kind heart, his old-soul wisdom, his
encyclopedic knowledge of fun facts, and his incredible sense of humor. But most
of all, it was his unconditional love and devotion to her and her son, Michael,
that truly stole her heart.

Eric, in turn, was awed by Kathryn’s intelligence, beauty, ability to overcome
any obstacle, and her remarkable strength as a mother. She inspired him with her
grace and determination through life, and he knew he had found someone truly
extraordinary.

From that first dinner to this very day, Kathryn and Eric have built a love
story filled with laughter, respect, and unwavering support. As they prepare to
say "I do," they look forward to a lifetime of adventures together—with Michael
by their side—and a love that continues to prove their friends were right all
along: they were soulmates meant to find each other.

After a year-long engagement, Kathryn and Eric have savored every moment of
planning a wedding that reflects their journey and love for one another. They’ve
taken their time to create a day that not only celebrates their bond but also
marks the beautiful step forward for their growing family.

We are so excited to share this special day with you and can’t wait to celebrate
the beginning of this wonderful new chapter together.
