I highly recommend Halcol for solar. From the salesman to the admin team to the
installation team they were all very well informed, answered any questions we

explained how everything worked and even explained what I had to do with my

One of the problems I faced when researching for Solar was trying to find

We recently had Solar installed at our home. The staff were extremely
informative and gave us several options to choose from especially to suit our
individual living needs with competitive prices to. Reliable, efficient and
professional at all times. Even a few weeks after installation we had a few
questions as it was our first time having Solar & the staff were quick to
respond & very helpful without any hesitation. I would highly recommend and we

Seems a good quality product at a fair price. Most important to me was that
there was no pressure applied for the sale- very relaxed approach which is what
I like before making any big purchases. Fit out crew turned up on time,
completed the job neatly and cleaned up well. No hassles with paperwork etc

The only problem we had was turning on the power for hot water when a period of
cloud which was solved with a phone call, thank you. Perhaps for the mature aged
consumers we need to go over the way to access the Halcol apps!!!!! Great

Halcol quoted with 48 hrs then installed with 1 week of our local utility
approval. Very neat wiring installation and the installation team took the time
to ask where we wanted the panels so as there aren't visible from the entrance
which was highly appreciated. Very efficient install team. Highly recommended.

golden egg laying goose. Halcol took the time to give a realistic assessment and

within 2 days. Administration staff were very helpful. Installation crew
attended on time and competed the install in a timely manner. They were very
thorough and helpful with the operating procedures of both the inverter and the

We have used Halcol to install Solar at Bribie Island and again when we moved to
Deception Bay. We also used them to add additional panels at Deception Bay. On
all occasions, we found them to be extremely informative and easy to deal with
from the first call to Installation. I recently had a problem with an Inverter
and decided to call Halcol and got the same friendly service. The guys were here
prompt at 7:00 am, they were helpful, extremely efficient in replacing the
Inverter, checking the panels on the roof and running through the Inverter with
me all within an hour. I highly recommend talking to Halcol for Solar
Installations; they get the job done and excellent after-sales service. Thank

Happy with the whole process. We had a meeting for a quote that was very
thorough and the installation went smoothly. We had to contact them when we
changed ISP to get the monitoring sorted out and they promptly send instruction.

sales through to their installation crew led by Luke. Any concerns I may have

We are based in Brisbane and I’m an extremely happy customer and have no
hesitation is recommending Halcol. I’m a big believer in you get what you pay
for and I’m happy with the price considering the quality parts used. Our sales
Consultant Tony presented us with a couple of different options and didn’t do
the hard sell or pressure us to sign up while he was there. When the install
team turned up on time and were friendly and polite. I’m one of those annoying
customers who like to ask lots of questions only because I like to understand
how things work and the install team were more than happy to answer my
questions. The Installation was extremely very neat and the best part is they
cleaned up after themselves.

Highly Recommend Halcol Energy, they installed my system a few years back and
still to this day maintain it, they come out every 12 months to clean it and
check its working correctly. we have never had a problem with it and the
customer service they provide is amazing no question is too silly for them. they

From the initial meeting to the completion of our installation, everything was
hassle free. Very satisfied with our solar. Has reduced our 6 person household
usage significantly and seeing even bigger figures generated by our system
coming into summer. 41kw/day on some days and it’s only November. Wouldn’t use
anyone else.

A great big thank you to Halcol Energy on the Sunshine Coast. After an
introduction through Solar Quotes, Halcol dropped by, gave an overview of the
installation, provided a competitive quote using top quality Canadian panels (20
x 3.3 kW panels) with a Sofar 5kW inverter. After accepting the quote, we got a
very speedy install (due to a cancellation). The guys were super good on site
installing panels on a 32 degree day, installing the inverter with a lot of
wiring work on the switchboards. Instantly generating solar power - it’s a good
feeling - and good savings after a very short 2.5 years pay back period. Highly
recommend Halcol and the equipment they use and Solar Quotes who gave great

I found Halcol Energy through all the great reviews online, and decided to give
them a call. From the very beginning, it was such an easy process. Their sales
person Gary came to give us a quote - and it was the easiest consult I think
I've ever been a part of. He didn't fluff around, or use over complicated lingo
(except he did have a strong Irish accent which made my husband and I giggle
when he said 'three' - Sorry Garry!). He explained everything clearly and to the
point. There was no sales person 'Hard Sell' which was a breath of fresh air. We
were happy to find out that we could save thousands of dollars, as our current
solar panels (as we knew) were not enough and under preforming. The installers
that came around did a great job - they worked their behinds off putting our
panels up and were very helpful in explaining how the app worked and any other
questions I had. Overall, it was a seamless and hassle free transaction. I would
recommend this company for many reasons - the first being the great service, but
also because it is a local company and I think it's great to support local where
you can.

On Friday 18 November 2022, we had our Solar System Installation carried out by
HALCOL ENERGY( Bokarina Sunshine Coast ) We used SolarQuotes initially to learn
about solar energy systems. After doing a lot of reading on the local Solar
companies, we chose 3 to obtain quotes from. We appreciated the valuable time of
each company & we put our faith in HALCOL ENERGY. We were impressed with their
business integrity, their knowledge, their installations records ( both
residential & commercial ) & their trust in their recommended products &
materials. Thanks go out to Wai in the office, Nathan in sales, Sam in Design &
very importantly, to their qualified, very professional & capable installers. On
our install day, we were extremely impressed with the installers, Brodie B &
Brodie. They introduced themselves & immediately we felt at ease. They took the
time to explain what they were going to do during the install process &
consulted with us about the positioning of the panels & the placement of the
inverter, as per the planned, best suited design. By keeping us, the customer,
in the loop, we believe it is a key standout factor in any business. This was
all spoken about even before they got on the roof. They were extremely thorough
with their measurements on the roof, for panel placement and all this was done
with utmost care & diligence. Their patience, attention to detail & their
experience, delivered us a truly amazing exceptional job. Brodie B & Brodie,
have excellent customer service skills & they delivered extremely high quality
workmanship. Well done to both of them and we know they will keep up the great
work. Since our install, we have received all written correspondence regarding
everything we need to know. We have no hesitation in highly recommending HALCOL

Honestly very disappointed. We paid the most we needed to have a zero bill.
$7500 for the 9.6kw system. Either the salesman doesn’t know his product or they
flat out lied to us. Was 100% promised multiple times that our bills would be in
negative and we’d be getting a rebate but that has never happened. We’ve changed
energy providers 3 times to try but it just won’t happen.

It's definitely the right business... i contacted Gary Higgins about batteries
he couldnt be stuffed replying back to emails.. even when i resent the request.
so yeah its the right business.

We are very happy with our decision to use Halcol for a family member's Solar.
We had used Halcol for our own solar panels in the past so we knew they had
excellent back up service and a good history with a well established business.
Halcol will stay around to honour their guarantees, unlike some fly by nighters
in this field. Very professional when dealing with the team and competitive
pricing. The products and options where explained well. The whole process was
easy from start to finish, we would recommend Halcol for anyone installing
solar.
