BELOVED COMMUNITY

Beloved Community is the ultimate goal of the philosophy of Kingian Nonviolence,
named for Martin Luther King, Jr., a foundation figure for our school. At
Community Prep, we endeavor to bring about our own Beloved Community by
following Dr. King's overarching philosophy of peace and justice.

ACADEMIC RIGOR

Community Prep students develop the habits of hard-working, compassionate,
informed individuals while exceeding standards and finding deeper meaning and
purpose in what they are learning. Our curricula are built to inspire students
to solve problems, work cooperatively, and take on a variety of perspectives.

OPPORTUNITY

Our school gives motivated students in grades 4-8 the opportunity to reach for
their dreams, regardless of family income. We serve families who value small
classes and challenging academics in a nurturing environment of cultural and
economic diversity.
