DR. TING HO

President
Dr. Ho has a keen interest about soil microbial in safe, clean food production,
in sustaining agriculture, in nutrient recycling, and in ecological balance. Dr.
Ho was at senior management of a Hong Kong-based OEM shoe- and apparel-
manufacturing, distributing, brand acquisition, licensing, and outlet mall
development. He led projects in corporate turnaround, innovative business
development. Dr. Ho was an advisor to the Guangdong Provincial government on
logistics platforms, Big Data, Industry 4.0, Automation and deployment of robots
and intelligent drones for civilian and industry use, and supply chain
management through the IOT (Internet of Things) advisory committee. He supports
the South China Logistics Platform for tracing and tracking of safe food and
monitor cargoes flow. He was the first Chief Economist of FedEx Corp in U.S.A.


DR. LAWAL MARAFA

Vice - President
Lawal Marafa is associate professor with the Dept of Geography & Resource
Management, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is an agronomist with
specialization in agrochemistry and soil science, with a PhD in Geography. His
research interests and experience cover environmental issues related to soil and
natural resource management, eco-tourism and sustainable tourism, sustainable
development and climate change adaptation. Dr Marafa contributes knowledge and
guidance for the sustainability of farming ecosystems. He has been at the CUHK
for about twenty-five years, engaged with smallholder farmers in Hong Kong, and
collaborates with universities on mainland China.

PROF MS REDDY

Senior Advisor
M S Reddy is professor at Auburn University in Alabama, in the Dept of
Entomology & Plant Pathology. He is highly recognized for agricultural research
and extension education, winning numerous national USA educational awards and a
presidential medal. Prof Reddy is the founding chairman of the Asian PGPR
Society (Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria). The 7th PGPR conference will be
held 2021 in Hong Kong, organized with the Sustainable AgroTech Association
(SATA).


DR. BENNY YIU

Advisor
Benny Yiu gained his doctorate in biological sciences from Cambridge University.
Benny specialises in the application of sustainable, modern agricultural
technology, to rural smallholdings. He has participated in agricultural
development projects for farmers in Ghana and Myanmar.


DR. KRK REDDY

Senior Advisor
Dr.K.R.K.Reddy, a Distinguished researcher and is a pioneer in the field of
integrated pest management. He holds a Post Graduate Degree and Doctorate in
Biotechnology from Kakatiya University and also worked as a post doctoral fellow
at the University of Hyderabad. After returning from Germany as a Post-Doctoral
Scientist, he founded Sri Biotech in the Year 1994. Over the past 18 years,
Dr.K.R.K. Reddy involved in every activity of the organization right from
Research and Development, Product development, Business development and
establishing Marketing network apart from creating excellent infrastructure
first of its kind in the Agri-Biotech sector. Dr.K.R.K. Reddy with his enormous
scientific knowledge, developed several innovative products and processes
through fermentation. He received several awards for self and Sri Biotech which
includes “Pearl of Andhra Pradesh”, several state and National awards
respectively. He is the President of Bio-Agri Inputs producers Association of
Andhra Pradesh (BIPA), Member, Biotechnology Advisory Committees of Acharya
Nagarjuna University, Kakatiya University and Sri Padmavathi Mahila university,
Yogi Vemana University member CII’s task force on agriculture, Andhra Pradesh
and member of several scientific societies and organization


PROFESSOR TAN SRI DATO DR. SYED JALALUDIN SYED SALIM

Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Syed Jalaludin Syed Salim Academician Emeritus
Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Syed Jalaludin Syed Salim’s career spans thirty
years in academia, characterised by many innovations in higher education and
research sectors in Malaysia. Under his leadership as Chairman, Bank Rakyat
established itself as one of the most successful Islamic banks in the world. His
contributions and devotion to the sector attributed to his bestowal of the

remains highly involved in the corporate sector, holding a number of positions
