Market-wide circuit breakers are a measure to stop trading activity temporarily
when the market falls or rises rapidly beyond the set limits. These circuit
breakers are triggered by the movement of either the BSE Sensex or the Nifty 50,
whichever is breached earlier.

CAN AN ARBITRAGE TRADE BE CARRIED OUT BETWEEN TWO EXCHANGES?

Yes, an arbitrage trade can be carried out between two exchanges. However, it is
only possible if the stocks are already held in the demat account.
