PRAGUE CASTLE

Prague Castle is a castle complex in Prague 1 within Prague, Czech Republic,
built in the 9th century. Home not just to kings, but also emperors, the complex
at Prague Castle is one of the most important sites in the Czech Republic.

Everyday 6 AM to 10 PM. The historical buildings are open from 9 AM to 5 PM from
April 1 to October 31 and 9 AM to 4 PM during from November 1 to March 31.

Black light theater was pioneered by Jiří Srnec in the 1960s, and his family
continues the tradition to this day! Mixing vaudevillian theater with puppetry
and mime, the creators use custom blacklights to bring their stage to life. You
won’t believe your eyes, as inanimate objects fly around the room and interact
with the charismatic cast.

It might seem like sorcery, but the ‘trick’ is very simple – the black light
allows additional cast members to ‘disappear’ into the background, manipulating
objects to make them float through the air. You have to see it to believe it,
and you’ll soon be swept up by 90 minutes of fantastical performances and
whimsical skits.

Best of all, the show is completely dialogue-free, with a universal appeal

The beauty of the city rivals that of any other in Europe, but there is much
more to discover than just a beautiful appearance.

The Infant Jesus of Prague (also known as the Child of Prague) is a Roman
Catholic statue of Jesus Christ as an infant located in the Mala Strana, in the
city’s centre. Hundreds of people visit this sanctuary each day to pray, bow,
and make wishes. Prague’s Old Town Square has remained largely unaltered since
the 10th Century, despite the city’s tumultuous history of invasions.

Crowds of tourists swarm the historical streets on weekends, filling out the
outdoor eateries and discovering the local delicacies.

At the Old City Hall, witness the spectacle of the mechanical clock striking the
hour as you walk around town. It is considered to be the finest remaining
medieval mechanical clock in the world, having withstood the ravages of time and
remained intact.

The spectacular spectacle at the top of each hour always attracts a throng of
spectators.

The extensive grounds of the castle also include the enigmatic Golden Lane,
so-called because alchemists were said had to look at the street to finda
reaction in order to transform common things into gold (amalgamate/philosophers
stone process). Despite its name, it is uncertain whether or not alchemists ever
worked here.

Stare Mesto, the beautiful historic quarter of Prague, provides a view of the
heavens at night. Walkthrough the magnificent urban area of Stare Mesto in
Prague’s Old Town and look up to see a seven-foot tall sculpture of famous
psycho-analyst Sigmund Freud suspended from a metal beam over the cobbled
streets.
