If the entry is not there, then you are probably somewhat screwed unless you
have, or have access to, a Photoshop 6 CD containing the Photoshop SDK. Once it
loads, check the Xtns menu for a new entry: Photoshop Plug-In Settings. For me,
it is ~/.gimp-2.4/plug-ins/ Test if the install worked by launching GIMP. Be
sure GIMP knows about this folder in the Preferences - Folders dialog. Copy the
two files pspi and to your personal GIMP plug-ins folder, NOT the system
plug-ins folder. You can read the README.Linux file, but all of the information
there is in this instructable sooner or later. Save the file to an accessible
location, then unpack it with tar -xzvf gimp-pspi-1.0.5. This will create three
files in the current directory: pspi,, and README.Linux. Download the binary
package from Tor's site as of this writing, the filename is "gimp-pspi-1.0.5.".
What did work from me was installing the Ubuntu binaries (you may or may not
know, but Ubuntu is a Debian-based linux distribution). Linux: I tried
installing from a Fedora Core package using alien to convert the RPM to a DEB
but it didn't work for me. However, you can try three things: creating a Debian
package from a Fedora Core package, installing the binaries for Ubuntu, or
building from source. Debian users - like me - are out of luck as far as
installing from a repository, as the libraries used to build pspi are not free
(and therefore violate the DFSG). Windows users, and users of some linux
distributions (SUSE, Ubuntu, and Fedora Core) can download the GIMP-PSPI
packages at Tor Lillqvist's page (see links at the end). make backups, save
frequently, and use plugins responsibly. And my standard disclaimer: if anything
you do while following these instructions destroys, injures, or emotionally
scars anything or anyone, that is not my fault. So, the standard disclaimer
applies: YMMV, TANSTAAFL, and all that jazz. I have tested a few, some of which
work perfectly, and others which don't work at all. Caveats: Not all Photoshop
Plugins will work 100% with the GIMP PSPI plugin. Just get and install wine, and
run winecfg to set it up.

Remember, these are plugins designed for a Windows application. It's possibly
even required even when the first two conditions aren't met. It may also be
required for any plugin that has a dialog window. It will be required for any
plugin that, under Windows, would need to be installed. Linux users must have
wine (WINE Is Not an Emulator) installed for pspi to work. This tutorial does
not assume you know how to use The GIMP, but it does help if you have experience
with it. This tutorial assumes you have a fair knowledge of how to copy, move,
and paste files in the Windows Explorer, or in Linux, whichever you favor. The
Windows version is available at the GIMP's website (see links at the end).

Most linux versions are available through your distribution's package
management. This tutorial assumes you have installed The GIMP, and is based on
versions 2.2 and 2.4 of the software. However since I do not own an OSX computer
I cannot vouch for this process on that operating system.

Otherwise, the processes described herein are really much the same, no matter
which OS you use. Because Windows and Linux have different issues getting PS
plugins to work in GIMP, I have tried to expand the areas where the OS makes a
difference. GIMP can, in fact, use Photoshop Plugins with relatively little
effort, with the use of the GIMP PSPI plugin from Tor Lillqvist. But we can take
one thing off the list (well, sort of). GIMP may not yet be able to replace
Photoshop for everything Photoshop can still do. The GIMP (GNU Image
Manipulation Program) is a free, open-source raster graphics imaging editor that
is quickly becoming a strong challenger to Photoshop. Many graphics artists come
to rely heavily on a set of Photoshop Plugins to do the work they do, and may
recommend these plugins to other artists. Good day! Photoshop is often
considered to be the best desktop raster graphics imaging editor software on the
market, with zillions of features, not to mention a massive array of filters
available online and from retail outlets.

The YouTube app instead pauses the video and brings up their clunky playback bar
and related video thumbnails. One example: on the remote you can click left or
right to quickly skip back or ahead 10 seconds. So not only do they not follow
the same controls as every other app, making users learn two different styles of
interaction, they're worse on top of that. If they were better than Apple's, one
could make an argument as to why Google should use theirs over Apple's, but they
clearly aren't better. The playback controls are probably the worst thing about
the app.

The YouTube app's lists don't do this (compare to say, the Settings app) and
thumbnails do a sort of poor man's version trying to at least mimic the effect
(it didn't used to do it at all, so that's at least an improvement). When you
navigate lists, app icons or video thumbnails across tvOS, the selected items
sort of pop out larger a bit, hovering and animating with a subtle parallax
effect to inform the user what is clearly selected (and feel fluid and
responsive while doing so). The biggest issue boils down to Google trying to
make one design that they apply to EVERY device, this way they don't have to
have a team spend time designing the app to fit Apple's specific Human Interface

As a novelty, yes, you can load up a few and keep them around for fun, or
showing off at how quiet you can make it, but your rifle will likely be turned
into a single shot and you will have to manually cycle the action to load the
next round every time. Its likely that it will be almost impossible to get your
AR to cycle reliably at all with subsonic loads unless you build the gun for
that purpose. I have to ask why you want a subsonic 223 round though as you are
turning your center fire rifle into a. However, if they were even remotely close
the rest, the spread and SD wouldn't have changed much - and no guarantee it
would have worsened.First, welcome to the world of suppressors. Note: I did have
2 rounds not read by the chrony in batch 1. While I find it a bit odd, and worth
more testing to confirm, that the absence of the cotton filler would cause
higher velocities (due to slower burn and higher pressure possibly) I do think
this is significant enough data at the moment to validate the use of a filler in
the case and to counter any argument that says Trail Boss is a non-positional
sensitive sure appears to be VERY sensitive at this point. Notes 1: Sierra 0.224

With proper shot placement (all shots should be properly placed) you CAN take
down deer sized game out to 100 yards with this round. Remember, this is a 55
grain projectile at 1005 FT/s delivering 123 ft-lbs of energy. 223 that can be
whisper quite and still take down game out to 100 yards. This will keep the 3.8
grains of powder over the primer hole ensuring full ignition of the powder when
the primer is struck.Ĭouldn't get a great photo, but the cotton should fully
cover the primer and be significantly lower than the bullet base when

sharpie and color the tip of the round black so you don't get them confused with
your super-sonic ammunition. Using your punch tool, gently push the wispy cotton

So, after another full day of experimenting, I've landed with the best recipe I
can make for a 55 grain round and my weapon platform. I've been tinkering over
the past few weeks trying to use different powders and loads to create the
perfect (for me) subsonic.
