INTRODUCING OUR GENERAL MANAGER…

Hello there! My name’s Alistair and I’m coming up to my 20th year working in the
Hospitality Industry. I started my career as a kitchen porter while at
university studying Musical Theatre. After graduating, I loved the industry so
much, I decided to become a Commis Chef (the bottom rung for those who are
aware). I was progressing in the kitchen and working up the ladder, until I was
randomly asked by my boss to help in the front of house. Although I was very
unsure, I got stuck in all the same. At the end of the night, I discovered that
I had found my vocation, I loved it. Combining my two loves of people and food,
what’s not to love! I have now been with Freespirit Pubs for nearly 4 years and
I must say they are the best company I have worked for!
