Digital Mastering &

Stem Mastering

Mastering services can be done traditionally with one stereo file or with stem
mastering which combines multiple instrument groups. Stereo mastering is quick
and affordable for preparing a track for distribution but doesn't offer as much
control. Stem mastering is better for correcting balance issues and adjusting
certain instruments without affecting the rest of the track. The amount of
control depends on the number of stems and channels within each stem. The goal
is still the same for both approaches - to enhance the song for distribution.

Digital Mixdown

The mixdown process is the stage  where all the individual tracks of a recording
are combined and balanced to create a final stereo mix. This process involves
adjusting the volume, panning, and equalization of each track. The goal of the
mixdown is to create a balanced and cohesive sound that highlights the strengths
of each element minimizing any unwanted frequencies or noises. Once the mixdown
is complete, the final stereo mix is exported and ready for mastering.
