* Our delivery coverage is within 50-miles of a Costco Wholesale warehouse

centers or from a supplier distribution center. We do not ship from or to
Costco Wholesale warehouses

* Select your delivery date at checkout. If scheduling is not available during
checkout, the carrier will contact you to set up an appointment with a
delivery window.
* Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email stating that
Costco.com has received your order.
* The night before your delivery appointment, approximately 6-9PM local time,
you will receive an automated call from Costco Logistics, or the assigned
carrier, at the primary phone number listed on your order providing you with
a two hour delivery window.
* SMS text opt-in is available at checkout, under Order Contact Information. If
selected, you will also receive a text message the night prior to delivery
and the morning of the scheduled delivery.
* All orders must take delivery within 10 days after contact from the delivery
agent. If the delivery agent is unable to reach you after multiple attempts,
your order may be returned to inventory and refunded to your original form of
payment.
If a disposal, recycling or e-waste fee or tax is applicable in your state, this
will be applied to your order and collected at checkout.
Delivery and Installation
* Delivery & set up/connection can only occur at the time of your scheduled
delivery appointment and must meet the installation requirements listed
below.
* Connection of the product to existing utilities is limited, can vary based
upon your home and must comply with local codes, or in the absence of local
codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code and the National Electric Code.
* Our delivery and complex installation teams are required to install anti-tip
brackets on certain appliances, at no additional cost to our members. Refusal
of anti-tip bracket installation will result in drop-off delivery only and no
connections will be completed.
* Delivery agents are not licensed carpenters, plumbers or electricians. No
modifications can be made to the home, countertops, walls, cabinetry or
backsplash and we do not provide plumbing or electrical services. Commercial
or built-in appliances cannot be installed, removed or hauled away
* If proper electrical outlets, gas or water supply shut-off valves, or venting
sources are not available or located directly behind the appliance at the
time of delivery, a complete installation will not be possible.
* Delivery is subject to reasonable access to the area without damaging the
purchaser's property or the product, or jeopardizing the safety of the
delivery personnel.
* Recipients must be home at time of delivery. An adult, 18 years or older,
will need to be present during delivery.
Complex Installation Appliances (dishwashers, OTR microwaves and some gas
appliances)
* Delivery and complex installation will require two separate appointments.
* Every effort will be made to have the appointments occur on the same day.
* The complex installation contractor (not the delivery agent) will be
responsible for the haul away of existing appliances.
* Haul away at time of delivery is an option, only if the member uninstalls
existing appliance and removes it from opening prior to the arrival of the
delivery agent.

WASH/DRYER REVIEW
Great washer and dryer, however, being a stackable, there is a bit of
vibration to both units during usage. We thought it was off balance, but the
washer/dryer showed that it was level and we had tried to adjust the feet on
the bottom to make sure that it was level. We had some issues with the
delivery company that was subcontracted out by Costco. They were not very
helpful in the set-up process. It took several attempts to get it setup and
running. The first delivery person said that he could not hook up the washer
and left the washer in the hallway and ran into his truck and took off while
I was chasing after him to stop and talk to me. Very unprofessional service.
Not Costco's fault, but the delivery company.

NICE UNITS BUT WASHER DOOR CANNOT BE REVERSED
For the most part, these units are easy to use and wash and dry well. But be
forewarned of two issues: One is that the washer door is NOT reversible. If
you don't want to have to carry clothes around the open washer door, make
sure you can place the washer to the LEFT of the dryer. The second annoyance
is that the lint filter on the dryer is very difficult to open. I have
strong hands and I struggle to open it. I called Samsung about replacing it
thinking it might be defective but the rep said that's the way it's
designed. What!?!?!

SO FAR SO GOOD! AND GOOD DELIVERY EXPERIENCE!
We’ve had both units for just over 4.5 weeks with no issues. Hopefully they
continue to do us well for the years to come. ALSO, we had NO issue with the
delivery team. They were on time, called when they were about 10min away,
hauled away old washer & dryer, then installed new washer & dryer. The
previous reviews did have me nervous because they all said that the delivery
team lacked communication, damaged things in the home, or didn’t haul away
old appliances. Well my experience was the opposite & I’m glad I decided to
give them a try. I’m a big believer in the way you talk to people has a lot
to do with the service you receive. I treated them just as I wanted anyone
to treat me, and everything worked out perfectly.

GREAT APPLIANCE, TERRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE
The appliances work great. We have only had them for two weeks but so far so
good. Be warned the people who deliver the appliance will not disconnect
your gas dryer. make sure it is disconnected before they get there. Two
weeks later and three phone calls to Costco mine is still in the basement
waiting to be picked up. Also if you scheduled for Costco to install your
appliances; good luck. They never showed when scheduled. Never called. Again
three calls later to Costco and I ended up installing on my own. As I write
this I am on hold with Costco trying to get the old dryer hauled away.

Ordering and delivery were 5 stars. 3 weeks after the install the dryer is
not working. It will take over a week for a servicer person to come and
inspect the unit. Will update this review once resolved.

OUTSTANDING UNITS IF THEY WOULD JUST SHUT UP
Would absolutely be a 5 star rating if I could figure out a way to make the
control panel not sing little songs every time you change a setting. This is
my third front loading washer and it shakes far less than the previous two.
Controls are a little too locked into presets for my taste but with enough
flipping around I can usually get the setting I want.
But the control bleeps and songs . . . they are just unbelievably annoying.
And they’re high pitched and high volume enough to disturb the kids’ naps if
we’re not careful. Just a simple “never beep” setting would solve all of it.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT SAMSUNG PRODUCT
I purchased as a replacement for a 10 year old Samsung washer and dryer set
(which performed very well). The new washer and dryer are updated versions
with good features and performance. Washer cleans well and handles heavy
duty loads (king size bed quilt) with ease. Dryer also performs well and
also handles heavy duty items well. The lint trap on the dryer is a bit hard
to open if you have arthritis in hands. Overall I highly recommend this set
- great price, warranty and product.

8. Do Not Buy Samsung!

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!
Less than 30 days in the house, and the labeling on the front of the washer
and dryer is wiping away. I’d say in another month, I wouldn’t even be able
to choose a cycle knowing what it is. This is unacceptable. I called
Samsung, and they said that is NOT covered under manufacturing warranty, but
would do me a favor just this one time and have a technician come out to fix
it, but I’d be responsible for the labor. What?!! I pay labor for cheap
manufacturing and poor quality control?! What’s the technician going to do?
Write what each thing does with a sharpie? I unfortunately can not even
begin to rate the longevity in performance of the machines because in less
than a month I can’t even see the “on button” any more. I did try to connect
it to the WiFi using their app many times and was unsuccessful.
But just based on the craftsmanship of display panel, I’m not sure how well
the unit itself would hold up to “wear and tear”.
