Hi All,
I was searching for integration between New Relic and SNOW for CMDB.
I found below details , which is not supported officially by New Relic-

github.com

GITHUB - NEWRELIC-EXPERIMENTAL/NEWRELIC-ENTITY-CMDB-CI-SYNC: A SET OF
UTILITIES...

A set of utilities to facilitate the synchronization of ServiceNow CMDB CI
metadata with New Relic Entities (tags) - GitHub -
newrelic-experimental/newrelic-entity-cmdb-ci-sync: A set of utilities ...

I couldn’t found anything relevant , hence I have few queries listed below:

 1. Has anybody implemented this in their environment?
 2. Do New Relic has plans to support this officially?
 3. Do New Relic plans to provide a one on one integration with SNOW?

Regards,
Amit

If they have been answered, I would appreciate, if you can kindly share the URL.

Hello @risinamit -

As you noted, right now this is what we call “experimental” code. It’s really
written as a proof of concept, and it has not been thoroughly tested. You are
absolutely encouraged to try out the code, but do it in a non-production
environment. If you have questions, see a bug, or want to help improve the code,
you are encouraged to connect with the project developers in GitHub.

This is not an official part of the product roadmap at this time, but if we see
a lot of traction around this project and interest in SNOW in general, it very
well could be in the near future.

@hross Thank you for the response on this topic.

Can this be considered as enhancement request, where voting option is available?
This will help to keep a track, on how many are looking for this feature.
Based on the count of the request, further steps can be taken.

Regards,
Amit

Hey @risinamit - We don’t really have a system for keeping track of feature
requests for experimental open source code. The best thing to do is comment over
on GitHub and see if you can get the project owners engaged. That way you can
talk to the developers directly!
