What a treat! We felt like we were staying in a living museum…but with all of
the modern conveniences! Charlotte has clearly put much love and attention into
her BnB. It shows in every corner of every room. Charlotte was a joy to chat
with as she made us a delicious breakfast. We hope to be back, and will be
recommending Charlotte’s BnB to our friends!

We loved our stay at Charlotte’s! The farm is gorgeous, with breathtaking views.
The attention to detail in the historic is on point, and also has the modern
amenities you need. We stayed in the downstairs unit, which was perfect for our
small family. The breakfast was also delicious! This was intended to be just a
pit stop on a long drive for us, but we hope to return!!

Heavitree is a truly magical place. Charlotte instantly makes you feel at home
and everything about the inn is lovely. I’ve stayed in a fair number of b&b’s
and this is a favorite. The rooms are perfectly outfitted in period charm, the
breakfast was wonderful and the grounds are spectacular. Charlotte is a delight.
Do not hesitate to go and enjoy the little slice of heaven that is Heavitree.

I bought a night and Mother’sDay morning for my mother and father. They LOVED
their say here. The furniture, food, surroundings and history are all collective
pieces for the charm. They can’t wait to go back. Huge thank you to Miss
Charlotte for being a PHENOMENAL hostess and having a part in making my moms
Mother’sDay so special. They can’t wait to go back!




CARRIEANNE

This is a truly unique place! Nestled amidst a Christmas tree farm and on a
piece of property that the owner’s family has lived on for over 300 years. It is
a beautifully restored historical tavern with period furnishings. Our hostess
Charlotte was charming, knowledgeable and attentive. It’s roughly ten miles from
Foxwoods and as such provided us with a nice respite after attending a
performance there.



LAURA

This is more than a B&B…it is an experience! The period details in the house are
amazing. And the views are breathtaking! I wish we had more time to take a walk.
Our space in the house was very comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean.
Charlotte is a wonderful hostess and made us feel very welcome! Her eggs
benedict is the best! We are looking forward to staying there again sometime!
